I have been dealing with a vibration issue in the rear end/driveline of my 2wd MJ ever since I rebuilt the suspension.
Does this much axle wrap/rotation seem normal? Hard to see, but the axle is able to rotate a bit. May just be from the torque since it's in park, but I am wondering if these new Dorman springs are just junk.
Whenever I am coming off throttle or decelerating, I get a vibration through the floor. If im completely off the gas, it might go away but if I put slight pressure on the gas pedal, the vibration is constant. Any more acceleration and it goes away. I noticed recently after having the bed loaded down with a few hundred pounds the problem seemed to disappear.
Only noticeable at speeds over 45mph. Feel like I've checked/replaced everything at this point and not sure what to look at next. Pinion is set right at 1 degree below the transmission.
I have replaced drive shaft, ujoints and slip yoke along with a new bushing in the 2wd housing. The original yoke had a lot of play. New engine/trans mounts and all 4 wheel bearings.
