I have been dealing with a vibration issue in the rear end/driveline of my 2wd MJ ever since I rebuilt the suspension.

Does this much axle wrap/rotation seem normal? Hard to see, but the axle is able to rotate a bit. May just be from the torque since it's in park, but I am wondering if these new Dorman springs are just junk.

Whenever I am coming off throttle or decelerating, I get a vibration through the floor. If im completely off the gas, it might go away but if I put slight pressure on the gas pedal, the vibration is constant. Any more acceleration and it goes away. I noticed recently after having the bed loaded down with a few hundred pounds the problem seemed to disappear.

Only noticeable at speeds over 45mph. Feel like I've checked/replaced everything at this point and not sure what to look at next. Pinion is set right at 1 degree below the transmission.

I have replaced drive shaft, ujoints and slip yoke along with a new bushing in the 2wd housing. The original yoke had a lot of play. New engine/trans mounts and all 4 wheel bearings.

Got a 87 Comanche but couldn’t find a new wire harness from the c101 port on the firewall so i had to buy a Cherokee harness, so far it has all the plugs except this one, is this plug vital to run the truck?

Sort of a strange question but I picked up a project truck last year. When I purchased that truck the owner had another 1.5 Comanches that he cut me a deal on if I would take at the same time. So two trips later I ended up with one OK project truck and a parts truck full of a bunch of misc parts. I am getting ready to scrap the parts truck after stripping the interior, selling the drive train and bed. Are there any specific parts from the engine bay that are comanche specific to keep as well? The back glass is a slider but the slider is broken and replaced with plexiglass unfortunately.

Before anyone asks the parts truck essentially had zero unibody left. It snapped in two when we unloaded it and the back portion of the frame was roaches from the perches back. Short of building a full tube frame which is out of my knowledge. There was no saving it.

I have a 1989 4.0L 5sp renix that starts just fine but after driving for more than 10 mins then shut it off it will not start again unless I wait about 20 mins or give it some Cosby sauce.

It has a new fuel tank, fuel pump, and new fuel filter. I thought maybe the CPS but it will start and stay running after a squirt of starting fluid. Could this be an issue with the fuel rail getting too hot and it vaporizing the fuel in the lines? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
