Feb Genc Next Interview Results

I am from VIT-AP, i have given my genc Next interview on feb 18th and today which is 24th April got the results of the interview which was shared by my placement officer. 30 members have given the interview and only 6 members were selected for genc Next out of which 5 were from java cluster and 1 was from python.

After 2 months of wait 🙂

Now i wanted to know from people who have been in my position, when can i expect the loi for GENC as i was not selected for NEXT.

In my campus, GENC selects got their congratulations mail on 19th feb and got their loi on 24th feb.

So can i expect my loi in 3-5 days for GENC?

Numoffers = 2 means genc select

I gave the interview for genc next.

And just now...my tpo shared a list and I'm selected in genc.

My interview went well. I answered all questions but I didn't get next🙂.

Cognizant numoffer = 2

Is there anyone who got selected for Genc Pro/Next role, and has numoffer of 2?

Also is there anyone who got selected for Genc Pro/Next, and has numoffer of 0 or 1?

Need help understanding Capgemini L1 (Cloud/DevSecOps) exam – sharing question set, how tough is it really?

Hey everyone,

I’m preparing for the Capgemini L1 assessment (Cloud + DevSecOps track), and my exam is scheduled for 5th May. I’ve been following a training syllabus that covers AWS, Azure, DevSecOps, scripting, Kubernetes, IaC, and cloud assessment topics.

Recently, I created a practice MCQ set in JSON format based on my syllabus. It includes both direct concept questions and some scenario-based ones. I wanted to get feedback from people who have actually given this exam or something similar.

Here’s a sample of the type of questions I’m practicing:

{
  "text": "An application running on EC2 needs secure access to S3 without storing credentials. What should you use?",
  "options": {
    "A": "IAM User with Access Keys",
    "B": "IAM Role attached to EC2",
    "C": "Hardcoded credentials",
    "D": "Security Group"
  }
}

And also slightly conceptual ones like:

{
  "text": "Which Kubernetes service exposes application externally?",
  "options": {
    "A": "ClusterIP",
    "B": "NodePort",
    "C": "Pod",
    "D": "ReplicaSet"
  }
}

My doubts:

  1. How close are these questions to actual Capgemini L1 level?
  2. Is the exam mostly direct MCQs or scenario-based?
  3. Which topics carry the most weight? (IAM, VPC, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, etc.)
  4. What difficulty level should I expect overall?
  5. What score is generally considered safe to clear?

Also, if anyone has already given this exam, it would really help if you could share:

  • Question patterns
  • Important topics
  • Any traps or tricky areas

I’m mainly focusing on concepts rather than deep coding, but not sure if that’s enough.

Any advice or real experience would help a lot 🙏

help urgent, i need advice

I got cognizant genC role 4lpa, i have joining on 28th april, in the training they are giving 12k per month. But I have an offer from LTM for GET role of same 4lpa where they might give 25k per month but dont know when the joining might come.

Should i wait for LTM or should i go to cognizant.

also i thought if i dont join cognizant i'll keep learning skills and apply and attend interviews. But If i join cognizant they wont give leaves to attend offline interviews.

should i wait for ltm while trying for other opportunities or should i join cognizant till ltm comes, but cant try for other opportunities.
