Climbing Partner Red Rocks, Nevada May 2nd & 3rd - NZ Climber visiting for weekend, experienced, comfortable sport up to 5.11-ish, with car but no rope

I'm visiting Nevada for a few days and would love to lock in some climbing buddy(ies) for May 2nd & 3rd. I'll be flying in that morning and collecting a car. Happy to get straight into it. I'll have harness and shoes but sadly traveling for work and can't pack the rope and draws.

I'm a very experienced climber (15+years), use auto blocking belay device, and do sport up to usually 5.11a-d ish (converting from NZ grades). Not here to push grades though so happily (preferably) climbing below my grade for good routes and company!

Message me if interested. Heading to Grand Canyon and Zion National parks for a few days afterwards too!

Looking for Rainier partners June 20–July 1

Hey everyone, my original Rainier partner situation fell through, so I figured I’d throw this out here and see if anyone is looking to team up sometime between June 20 and July 1. I’m in the Navy, but my schedule is pretty flexible in that window, and I’d rather find the right people than rush into a bad setup just to get on the mountain. I’ve got a good amount of experience and can hold my own.

Mainly just hoping to connect with someone or a small group that already has real mountaineering or glacier experience and wants to put together a smart, well-planned climb. I’m happy to talk beforehand about route, gear, rope systems, pace, expectations, or even do some kind of shakedown day first if that makes sense. Definitely not trying to solo it (and go through the park superintendent and all), and also not trying to throw together a sketchy team just for the sake of going, so if this sounds like your kind of plan feel free to message me. Thanks!

bouldering partner in SLC

Hello beautiful people :) I’m in SlC and looking for a bouldering partner.

I’ve been climbing a little here and there and I’m trying to get more consistent with it, but honestly it just sounds way more fun (and easier to improve) with someone to climb with.

I’m still pretty beginner, just slowly learning technique and trying not to rely only on strength lol. Just trying to enjoy the process and get a little better.

Look for Mt Whitney Partner Late April

Hi everyone! Is anyone interested in teaming up to do the Mt Whitney Mountaineer's route near the end of the month before permits become limited? I'm very flexible on dates(weekdays and weekends) and I'm hoping to do an overnight camp at Upper Boy Scout Lake.

Abit about me: I'm 23 years old and I just graduated from university in Los Angeles so I'm in my sidequest era and trying to get out as much as I can. I’m relatively new to mountaineering, but I have a good amount of snow travel experience but I still have alot to learn and I would really appreciate the help of someone more experienced! I’ve done winter ascents of San Gorgonio 3 times, San Jacinto, almost made it to Camp Muir, and I’ve also done a lot of snowshoeing in Alaska and Washington!

I have my own gear and I'm happy to coordinate dates, pacing, and carpooling from SoCal if needed! Feel free to send me a message if you would like to connect thanks!

Climbing @ Fontainebleau: 8 to 13 May

Hi! I'm a climber from India (32M) who's visiting Fontainebleau for the first time for a climbing trip. I'll be traveling from Berlin (I just moved here for an MBA) on 8 May. If you'd like to climb together, DM me. I'm planning to stay at one of the hostels. If there are any tips you'd like to share, do comment or DM.

About me: I climb v6-v7 indoors. I have little outdoor climbing experience (all in India). I am a calm person (and climber) who loves classic rock, food and being outdoors. Cheers and climb safely! :)

Rocklands in June – Aug

I'm going to be in Rocklands for the whole season and am hoping to find others who want to stay at Eight Day Rain and climb with me. It's obviously easier to make climbing plans with people who are staying at the same camp, so I'm on here to do some recruiting. The campground at Eight Day Rain is brand new so is unlikely to get a lot of guests this season. The guest farm offers both camping and safari-tent style glamping. You can see what they have on offer here https://eightdayrain.co.za/..  Because very few people know about the place, it's going to be much quieter/less crowded than Basecamp or DePakys and has better facilities than DePakhys.

I have a car, and if a visiting climber was prepared to work with my routine, they could easily get by without hiring a vehicle. I will have to work through season but will only work until 1pm most days, leaving the afternoon free to climb. On warmer days, I might climb in the morning to get better temps and then work in the afternoon. My work schedule is flexible.

A little bit about myself: I am 42-year old local (Cape Town-based), I climb up to 7B, and I am trying to learn Spanish (It would be great to meet a Spanish speaker). If you have any questions about my plans, Rocklands, or Eight Day Rain, please get in touch.
