Hey everyone! I'm u/DreamsSecretsNLogic, a founding moderator of r/ClassicVolvosForSale.

This is our new home for all things related to selling classic Volvos.

What to Post

Any any classic Volvos for sale that you find around the internet, in person, or that you are selling yourself.

Preferably 20+ years old - but if you find something really special free feel to post it. Worst thing that will happen is the post will be removed, you will be swatted, tar and feathered, and we will steal your car.

Looking to re-home my '90 M47 240DL Wagon

Location: 'burbs northeast of Atlanta GA

Asking: $2400 cash

Runs & drives. 202K miles - 2nd owner (last 15 years)

Current title/registration in GA. - emissions exempt

Body is solid but not perfect. Left rear door is dented (deer ran into me - long story) but works normally. Paint has seen better days - silver car that spent much of its life in CO and TX

Engine is strong. Timing belt replaced 3 years ago along with all the other belts. 3-core radiator

Transmission makes some noise in the indirect gears but no issues like jumping out of gear. Will need a clutch at some point

AC will need to be charged. Converted to R134 by original owner. Everything is in place and works

Power windows & locks. Manual mirrors

Factory cruise control

Vinyl seats - re-foamed

Pirelli P4s on refinished Virgos (powdercoated centers w/ machined lip)

Bilstein B4/Touring struts/shocks

IPD rear overload springs (very stiff)

Rear control arm bushings replaced 3 years ago

Thule rack w/ 50" crossbars and Criterium bike rack. Includes locking cores and 2 keys

Includes Bentley and Haynes manuals and a few random spare parts
