Among the Firstborn, there are warriors—and then there are legends. The Mounted Knights stand firmly among the latter: paragons of discipline, strength, and martial mastery, forged through years of relentless training in the art of war from horseback. From their earliest days, they are bound to their steeds, learning to fight as one—rider and mount united in purpose, speed, and deadly precision.

When they appear upon the battlefield, their arrival is not subtle. It is thunder. It is glory. It is hope made manifest.

Across the lines of the Imperial Army, their presence is met with resounding cheers and cries of triumph, for where the Mounted Knights ride, victory often follows. Clad in radiant armour that gleams even beneath bloodied skies, the most affluent among them take to war atop magnificent destriers—powerful warhorses bred for strength, endurance, and ferocity. These are no mere mounts, but trained instruments of war, capable of trampling, biting, and striking with brutal efficiency.

Together, knight and steed become an unstoppable force.

Armed with perfectly balanced lances, honed to pierce even the toughest hide or armour, they charge with devastating momentum. Few can withstand such an impact. Even towering Myrmadons—creatures of immense strength and resilience—have been brought crashing to the ground beneath the force of their assault. Lines shatter. Shields splinter. Courage falters.

Yet it is not only their strength that makes them feared—it is their mastery.

So precise is their training, so absolute their control, that Mounted Knights have been seen performing feats bordering on the impossible, leaping over ranks of warriors, crashing into the enemy with the full weight of horse and steel, their lances and swords striking with unstoppable force. In that moment, they are not merely soldiers, but a living avalanche of iron and fury.

They are the hammer of the Firstborn, the shining edge of the Empire’s might.

And when they charge, the world trembles.

We would like to introduce Chronopia: Dark Fantasy Miniature Battles:

A Game That Grows with You

One of the greatest strengths of Chronopia is its true scalability. Whether you’re just starting or ready to command entire armies, the game adapts to your pace and ambition:

* Hero Skirmish – Control just 4–5 models per player. Perfect for beginners or narrative-driven encounters where every warrior has a story.

* Patrol Level – Build your first warband with 10–15 models per side, learning tactics, positioning, and synergy.

* Battle Level – Expand to 30–40 models per side for full PvP clashes where strategy and army composition shine.

* Army Battle Level – Lead 100+ models per side into massive, cinematic conflicts that feel like true wars.

You’re never locked into one style—Chronopia lets you scale your experience from intimate duels to sweeping battles whenever you’re ready.

No Two Battles Are Ever the Same

Forget repetitive gameplay. Chronopia is designed so that every match tells a different story.

Each game features:

* A randomised main mission

* A secret objective for each player

*A variable deployment setup

These combine into 426 possible gameplay variations, ensuring that every battle feels fresh, unpredictable, and deeply rewarding. Victory isn’t just about strength—it’s about adapting to the unexpected.

Precision Dice & Tactical Flow

At its core, Chronopia uses an intuitive D20 system with a clever twist—the lower you roll, the better the outcome. A roll of 1 represents a perfect success, while 20 means failure, flipping the usual expectation and making every roll feel tense and meaningful. This creates a smooth learning curve for new players, while still offering plenty of depth for veterans who want to master probabilities and risk.

But where Chronopia truly shines is in its alternative activation system. Instead of waiting through long turns while your opponent moves their entire force, players take turns activating units one by one. This keeps both sides constantly engaged and opens the door for real tactical play—reacting, countering, and outmanoeuvring your opponent in real time. Smart positioning, timing, and decision-making become just as important as raw strength, making every move on the battlefield count.

A World of Shadow, Power, and Ancient Rivalries

Beneath its tactical gameplay, Chronopia is driven by a deep, rich grimdark narrative filled with ancient grudges, fragile alliances, and looming catastrophe. The world stands on the brink as a mysterious and malevolent force—known only as the Dark One—seeks to conquer all existence. From the shadowed depths of the Twilight Realm and the haunting void of the Dusk Realm, its influence spreads, corrupting, manipulating, and preparing the way for invasion.

Against this rising darkness stand the great powers of Chronopia. The proud Firstborn, ancient rulers of men, struggle to maintain their dominance. The unyielding Dwarven Clans defend their mighty Ringholds—fortified bastions carved deep within the mountains—standing as immovable bulwarks against annihilation. The enigmatic Elven Houses weave subtle schemes as old as time itself, balancing survival with ambition. The brutal Blackblood Empire, forged in chaos and strength, seeks conquest through sheer might.

Yet not all serve the light. The fanatical Devout have pledged themselves to the Dark One, acting as its agents within the world. Through forbidden rituals and dark devotion, they open gateways to other realms, unleashing demonic forces from beyond into Chronopia. They are not merely another faction—they are the harbingers of the end.

Every faction carries its own history, ambitions, and secrets—and on the battlefield, these stories collide. In Chronopia, you’re not just commanding miniatures—you’re stepping into a living saga of war, faith, betrayal, and survival, where the fate of entire realms hangs in the balance.

In the frozen heights of the Lotus Peaks, where wind and ice reign eternal, there blooms a flower unlike any other—the Silver Lotus, its radiant petals shimmering with an otherworldly gleam of blue and argent light. This rare and sacred blossom is the heart of the House of the Crystal Lotus, whose power is drawn not merely from magic, but from mastery over winter itself.

Those chosen among the Elven kind who partake of the Silver Lotus become Lotus-Eaters—beings transformed by its ancient essence. Through them flows a primordial force, said to have been forged at the dawn of time, when the world was still gripped by its first frost. With this power, they shape the battlefield to their will: raising towering walls of ice, unleashing storms of killing frost, and summoning blizzards that devour entire armies.

Yet their most feared art is the calling of the Ice Golems—ancient constructs of living frost and crystal, drawn from the very bones of winter. These towering beings march without thought or fear, their frozen forms impervious to mortal steel, their presence turning the tide of war with relentless, glacial inevitability.

Silver Lotus Eater weapons, chilled by that same timeless cold, strike with the weight of ages, carrying the silence of a world locked in ice. Wherever the Lotus-Eaters walk, winter follows—not as a season, but as a weapon, a shield, and a sovereign domain.

To wield the Silver Lotus is not merely to command magic—it is to become an avatar of the eternal cold.

MANX-SKULL CHAMPION WITH NOBLE SHIELD BEARERS

Among the ancient customs of the Horned One Clan Legions, none is more sacred than the Rite of the Noble Shield. When a Manx-Skull Champion marches forth from his Ringhold, he does not tread the earth beside lesser warriors. Instead, he is borne aloft upon a great iron-bound shield carried by his most trusted officers — scarred Noble veterans whose loyalty has been proven through countless battles and rivers of blood. As the Legion gathers beneath roaring war horns and the thunderous clash of spear against shield, the Champion is raised above his warriors as the living embodiment of the Ringhold’s strength, pride, and unbreakable will. And when the campaign is done, the rite is repeated once more, for he shall return upon that same shield — either standing victorious above his enemies or laid upon it in death.

TORMENTED

The Tormented are among the most horrifying beings of the Dusk Realm — former servants who failed the Dark One and were condemned to eternal suffering. They exist in constant agony, their tortured cries spreading fear across the battlefield. Maddened by pain and desperate for release, the Tormented charge blindly into enemy lines with savage fury, seeking slaughter in the hope that each kill might grant them a brief escape from their torment. Their presence is a grim reminder that in the Dusk Realm, death is not always a mercy.
