I can’t stand how precious my sweet baby Lucy is and want to spread the adorable around. I hope you and your sweet fur babies are having the best day too!

Interested in connecting with chorkie breeders in Canada ideally but also in the US. Feeling partial towards this mix and would love to add one to the fam.

Could also be chihuahua mixed with other terrier or long haired breeds. Aiming for that signature scraggle. TIA everyone!

Edit: very encouraged to see that so many of you have found guys like this via rescue. Do any of you have breeder recommendations?

Size check

This is moxie. Shes 10 weeks old and weighs 1.5 pounds. How big do you think we can expect her to be? I was curious if your chorkie was that size at this age, how big they ended up being?

This is Ciruela (translates to Plum), she's my 6 month old chorkie, her moms 100% yorkshire terrier and her dad is a small chorkie, but she's very small! Her mom isn't that small, her dad is pretty small but shes still smaller than her dad and she hasn't been growing anymore 😅 shes around 2kg and I don't see her getting any taller, when did your chorkie or yorkshire stop growing? She isn't much bigger than my other dog (a small chonky chihuahua)

He just finished eating and as usual wipes his face on his blanket. The orange ball is a favorite of his but it disappeared for a couple months and was found today. Then he started playing and barking so cute!

I need to change dog food and I was considering Aldis brand because I pretty much shop there exclusively but reviews were very mixed. What are your Chorkies eating?

Haircut/ticks question

I just moved from the city to an area that has a lot of ticks and I found one on his belly tonight which made me worry about any getting in his long hair. I’ve never cut my chorkies long back hair, just his sanitary areas. I love his long hair and worry if i cut it short, it may bother him since it’s been long for years. Do you guys get your chorkies hair cut short to help look for ticks? Thanks for any tips!

Edit: he is on Simparica trio

Anyone dealt with cherry eye in a chorkie pup?

Has anyone had experience with cherry eye in chorkie babies or adults? Massage technique? Did it require surgery? How was recovery? Did it ever return? Or go away on its own?
