Chirping from under hood

My brand new 2026 Chevy traverse Z 71 with only 300 miles has started chirping when it is idling. I took it by the dealer and they said GM is working on a solution and showed me a GM tag on this issue from nine months ago. What should I do? This car is brand new. I didn’t wanna buy a chirping car.

Recently bought a Certified Pre-owned 2023 Chevy Traverse RS AWD with 36k miles on it. Drove it pretty loaded up (cargo weight wise) from NW Ohio to Ft Myers Fl and back and it ran well other than it kicking out of overdrive on steeper inclines. Shockingly averaged over 22mpg. Any consistent issues I should look for or be aware of in future ownership?

All SEASON tires

Hi

Looking for all season, like the Michelin cross climate, not all weather tires for a 2026 RS with the big rims. Is anybody had success finding these?

What's best for snow and ice of the 3 above? Off road tires, Z71, normally are not good in snow. How are the stock tires for the RS? Is FWD good enough or AWD necessary?

Questions about 2026 Traverse

I am receiving a 2026 Traverse LT AWD as a company car. No additional packages. I have a few questions for you existing owners.

  1. Does this come standard with a receiver hitch? You cannot add one in the configurator on the Chevy website but this seems like an odd vehicle to come with one standard. Not planning on towing but maybe added a luggage carrier.

  2. Does anyone actually use the auto hold feature?

  3. How flat does the 3 row fold?

Thank you all in advance.

Does anyone here own a 2026 High Country trim that also has a SiriusXM subscription that can test something for me?

I want to know if you have access to the xtra channels. Send me a message if you can help me out and let me know.

I notice on the 24+ traverse, the higher end trim levels has sequential turn signals. Does anyone know if that’s the tail lights themselves or is it software doing that. Would be nice to add that to our traverse.

I'm posting here in hopes of finding help to see what I need to do to fix my 2020 Chevy Traverse.

It had a rumbling noise coming from the engine for a while now. I took it to the Chevy dealership here and they couldn't even pinpoint what was the problem with it. They just told me that they need to run more diagnostics which would cost me even more. Did anybody here ever run into this problem before?

I'm going to post the other pictures of the codes I got in the comments.

Seen horror stories of the newer models being lemons and or issues off the bat. Thought I was one of the safe ones. But yesterday I noticed my engine a little louder then normal and then later in the day after I got gas, I went to turn my truck back on and see check engine light on. I figured maybe it was oil needing to been changed but my app sent me an alert today for this. Is this covered under warranty? Barely at 29k miles and purchased last year in March.

now it has 120,500 Thursday I take it in to the dealer for an oil change, rotate tires and transmission service which is basically drain and fill next month I’ll take it in to get the spark plugs changed.

Help! What is this called?

NOT MY PHOTO, IT IS FROM A YOUTUBE VIDEO!! So today my husband and I changed the entire tail light unit on our 2014 Chevrolet Traverse and realized when we were putting it back in, one of the screws weren't screwing in place. The tiny grey piece that has the screw insert ended up getting stuck to the old light and while taking it off to put it back in place on the car and dropped it, therefore lost it forever unfortunately because it fell down into the car. What are these things called to be able to figure out a replacement? Like I said, tiny grey rubber-like piece around an almost anchor-like piece to hold a screw in but had the.... swirls like a screw for it to screw into place, lol. Anyways, if anyone finds this online, please send me a link or a name for this tiny piece!

My wife and I bought a 2023 all wheel drive Traverse without a towing package on it. We have been reading and the dealers are saying only a 1500 lbs towing hitch would work since we don’t have the tow package. To what I have read, the only thing we would really need is to upgrade the cooling system and we would be able to tow more. Would that work, or am I missing something and it wouldn’t work? Thank you!!!
