Just happened to check in UR to see what transfer bonuses might be active and saw this one. I try not to transfer UR points to hotel partners, and I usually only do it if there’s a transfer bonus and I’m looking at a really good redemption rate for a future reservation. Typical transfer bonuses to Marriott have been at 40%. Haven’t seen something this high in a while. 65% is only available during an “early bird” period (5/1-15) and then it goes down to 55% till June 30. Even with a 65% bonus, there may be better UR transfer options, but if there’s a good Marriott redemption rate you’re eyeing, this might be worthwhile.
Edit: I understand that it’s almost always better to redeem UR points in other ways. This was shared for those who may find a benefit in doing a transfer like this one. While that might be a rare situation, it may still be able to help someone.
