Charley in his recent post or reel on insta said that he spent personally $300,000 on this album. Did he actually spend that much? And also does this mean that we won’t be getting albums as frequently anymore? Considering he’s independent

Hey Everyone, Crockett released this album on his own. He spent $300,000 of his own money (via his own IG post) on this album. He has given A LOT to us. As someone who has released albums to streaming services myself and has a few big name artists in my circle...I can assure you....Spotify, Youtube Music or ANY streaming service doesn't pay artist anything. 1 million streams equals roughly $3-5K. Meaning Crockett would need 100 million streams just to break even. The industry is pushing "Bro country" with autotune, rap and lyrics about chugging beers, Friday night football and kissing girls. Nothing wrong with that but...it's cliche and boring. Please VOTE with your $ and buy the download.

Support your boy. BUY the download, go to his shows, buy merch....whatever makes money is what we will get more of. Whatever fails to make money will disappear.

Clovis Update: Spotify

I'd like to start off by saying I have no idea what's going on but I've noticed a few things that nobody has mentioned yet..

When Clovis dropped, I instantly downloaded every song on Spotify and have listened to the album nonstop since release (atleast 30+ listens). When the album was pulled yesterday I was still able to listen to every song until now. I am currently only able to view and listen to 6 songs from Clovis, the weird part is, the vocals seem to be entirely different recordings. Additionally, my Spotify still had the song "Country Music" in my que even though it is not one of the 6 songs I currently have access to. The vocal recording is different on this track as well. The recordings seem a little less polished and are very interesting after becoming so accustomed to the previous release.

Charley recently posted an image that suggest technical difficulties with a song attached that implies legal troubles.

What does all of this mean? No clue. All I know is this album was/is solid country gold and whatever is happening behind the scenes is going to make for a great story.

Has anybody else noticed these updated vocals? What is the general consensus on the status of this release?

These are photos of the famous Nor Va Jak Studios where Charley recorded Clovis. I got to take a tour over a year ago so I thought I’d share some pics

I know I’m in the minority here and probably deserve scolding but I use YT Music, and my priority right now is Clovis. But no sign of Clovis yet. Anyone know if it still will show up there?

i spoke with this family friend today and randomly asked to play him a song and i genuinely didn’t expect someone to be this impressed I played him One Eyed Jack and he was shocked at how good it was

I’ve been playing this album to a lot of people irl and I gotta say i’ve never seen so much intrigue and interest before. Btw none of them even listen to country like that. $10 Cowboy album has always been the one that impressed people the most when I introduce Charley to them cuz I have this thing of introducing his music to everyone I know but I gotta say i’ve never seen this level of interest as these past few days playing everyone One Eyed Jack, Top Hand and Eagle and the Crow. It feels like he’s next level now. A tier above what he was. I guarantee you any older person from ANY country is getting impressed by this album, even if its a song or two

So we wanted an album full of songs like Lone Star, I Stay Ready and Alamosa and we got it but we also got a style of Charley thats not talked about enough and its whenever he gets into the whole orchestra vibe.

Clovis is absolutely amazing. Now for the next one hear me out. A full on album of songs with this whole orchestra vibe but with him actually singing over it, kinda like on This Crazy Life but with even bigger orchestra arrangements like you’d hear on Clovis or Alamosa.

So basically a full album of songs like Clovis, This Crazy Life and Alamosa. That would be absolutely unreal. And do you guys hear that medieval vibe on Clovis? It has this medieval vibe that fits Charley’s style so well its just insane imagine him making songs continuing that medieval vibe

It feels so weird already talking about the next album concept considering he just gave us Clovis which is a whole masterpiece, but this guy is so good that I feel like theres no limits to how far he can take his music and im just envisioning it ahead
