Intress is one of my favorite characters from Chaotic to this day! Along with Maxxor himself, she was one of my first childhood crushes. 😍

She is fast, strong, super intelligent, and extremely caring toward her friends and all of Perim. A complete warrior: an excellent advisor, Maxxor’s second-in-command, and one of the most respected and feared fighters in the entire history of Chaotic. Remember the battle at the Passage? She single-handedly held back an entire Underworld invasion! A total heroine.

I absolutely loved her voice in the Brazilian dub (Lene Bastos did an incredible job).

Unfortunately, the series didn’t explore Intress as much as I wanted… I really wish we had seen more episodes focused on her, more about her relationship with Maxxor, with Aivenna (who she basically raised and trained), or even with Takinom.

Who knows, maybe one day there will be a revival or even a new series that explores Perim more deeply? I still have hope!

And what about you guys, what’s your view on Intress? What backstory do you imagine for her?

Backstory I imagine for Intress and Takinom:

Intress was born as the only daughter of Grand Master Lirael, a legendary warrior and guardian of balance in Perim, known for training the best fighters in the OverWorld forests. From a young age, Intress was agile, observant, and extremely talented — everyone saw in her the natural successor to Lirael.

One day, while still young, Intress found a girl the same age wandering wounded and without memories on the edges of the Forest of Life. Her name was Takinom. With a compassionate heart, Intress took her to her mother. Lirael, seeing potential in the mysterious girl, decided to adopt her. From then on, the two grew up as adoptive sisters: they trained together, shared secrets, dreams, and a healthy rivalry. Intress represented balance, protection, and wisdom; Takinom was more impulsive, fierce, and thirsty for quick results.

Over time, Lirael prepared Intress to be her official successor. But fate put them to the test. The two were sent on an important mission: to pursue a dangerous invader who threatened their lands. During the capture, Takinom argued that the only safe solution would be to kill the enemy right there. Intress hesitated — she still believed that justice and judgment should prevail. They took him alive.

What seemed like a quick victory turned out to be a trap. The prisoner was part of a larger plan to attack Master Lirael. Although he had been captured, Takinom, irritated by the reprimand she received for her extremist thinking, gave the enemy a chance to escape. It wasn’t her intention to cause so much harm… but it happened.

The invader took advantage of the opening and caused terrible devastation in the region, killing several innocents. In the final confrontation, he murdered Master Lirael. Intress, overwhelmed by pain and rage, managed to kill the creature. It was there that she learned, in the cruelest way possible, that sometimes solutions need to be final.

When everyone discovered that the enemy’s escape had been facilitated by Takinom, the anger exploded. Intress, still devastated by the loss of her mother, attacked her adoptive sister and expelled her from the clan. She didn’t have the courage to make a more definitive decision right after losing her mother — a hesitation she would carry for the rest of her life.

Takinom left furious and desperate. That wasn’t what she wanted. She only wanted to protect everyone and avenge the deaths caused by that monster… but her extremist methods had cost the life of the only person who had taken them in. Feeling betrayed and rejected, she wandered until she ended up in the Underworld, where she found a new path: darker, more aggressive, more “efficient.” That was how her journey in the shadows began, eventually becoming Chaor’s powerful advisor.

Intress, on the other hand, continued as the protector of the OverWorld, second-in-command to Maxxor, always carrying the scar of that fraternal betrayal. The “secret bond” between them never disappeared — a mix of sisterly love, guilt, anger, and longing that neither of them fully reveals.

This tragedy explains the deep hatred mixed with respect when they face each other… and why Intress masters water so skillfully: perhaps as a way to honor the balance her mother taught, or to wash away the wounds of the past.

I'm curious to know what this book looks like inside. Could someone scan it or take some photos?

After the season one finale, I always wonder what would have happened if Kaz had had a Code Master battle like Tom did. How do you think that confrontation between them would have been?

I think Kaz would obviously use Chaor, but what other creatures would he use?

Idk what was happening but my attacks would randomly deal 0 damage all throughout the fight, and I couldn't tell you why.

And no, it wasn't her ability because I hit her several beyond the first with Viqtarr and they all dealt 0 damage, one of them reduced by 20.

Im I dumb or did I run into a cheater?
