Put together a Great Weapon unit using a modular Evil Dwarf kit I’ve been working on and wanted to share how it turned out.

I built these with all the same weapons and shoulder pads to make them look like they belong in the same squad and just alternated the poses and smooth helmet options.

Hey all,

I’ve added 5 prebuilt bodies to the modular Evil Dwarf infantry kit I’ve been working on.

They come in versions with and without shoulder armour, so you can start from a base and just add heads and weapons.

The idea was to speed up building full units while still keeping enough variation so models don’t end up looking identical.

It’s been useful when putting together larger groups, quicker to assemble, but still flexible.

The latest addition to my Chaos Dwarf army is a Daemonsmith riding on a Lammasu. I’ve had the Lammasu for years since the Storm of Magic book, I picked up the model (even though it’s finecast) then. Sadly though it was a summonable unridden monster so didn’t come with a rider.

To solve that problem, I’ve used one of the Flamesmiths from the Chaos Dwarfs Blood Bowl Team, who slotted onto the back of it quite nicely. This now gives me around 3k of Chaos Dwarfs, which is nice. I will have to take a full army photo at some point soon!

The latest addition to my Chaos Dwarf project, 10 Infernal Guard with Blunderbusses. This was a straight forward build - Infernal Razors from the AoS Helsmiths of Hashut range, just mounted on square bases.

I am working on learning to sculpt with greenstuff. It’s slow going, but I am getting better! I am debating if I should add some fangs to this lovely chap.

So many combinations to make a unique army 👌
