Heading to Europe for 3 weeks.
Only bringing one watch - which would you bring?
T200 or S100
Got my first Oceanus (T200) in today direct from Japan, adjusted and feeling really nice on the wrist.
Hello!
I am trying to buy a ~$500 watch for my boyfriend for his birthday because he says he likes watches but has never bought one before. I also don't know anything about watches but found these two options on a previous reddit thread. Just curious what people tend to prefer out of the Casio Oceanus OCW-S100 vs. Seiko Presage Cocktail Time SRPB41? What considerations should I be thinking about?
Also for the Oceanus, what is the most reliable way to purchase one in the US? Is Amazon trustworthy, and is 1AJF the right model?
Open to other suggestions as well! Thank you all very much!!
I had been eyeing this one for months (OCW S7000RA-2AJF) and I have to say I absolutely love it! It arrived yesterday. It wears smaller than I had expected but it feels great on the wrist with its low profile. I also can’t believe how light weight it feels. Has some presence but also subtle which is what I really like with this colorway. Very happy with it! Just thought I would share as I had been lurking here for a while now. ✌️
Still a bit stiff and needs to be broken in but damn it’s comfortable… love the look vs. the bracelet.
The watch is a strap monster. I like the bracelet, but i hate the ridiculous proprietary cheap clasp, but fortunately there are other options …
Every time i change the strap, it’s like a new watch. :-)
Oceanus S100 owners, let me preface this by saying I have slight OCD on things like this. 😂😭
Is this little end link gap normal?
Love love love my my OCW-S100-1AJF! However, my main complaint is the bracelet. Had a heck of a time removing 2 links to fit properly and reinserting it because of the pin and collar system that it uses. This means that during the day as my wrist size changes, even slightly it starts to feel uncomfortable even though it’s very light because of the titanium construction. Has anyone had this experience and how to correct it because of the design, are there any secondary market straps or other bracelets that you can replace it with?
I'm just having hard time choosing my first Oceanus and would like to hear your opinion. Also, why people rarely talk about t150, it's pretty nice watch
Resized after not feeling like doing so for awhile. I really missed wearing it. I’d say it’s my favorite daily wear in the collection.
Just for fun, I bought some FKM straps (blue and white) for my Oceanus T200 on AliExpress, even though they’re actually meant for the Moon Swatch. They fit the Oceanus like a glove (or like butt on bucket, as the german say is in my region), though you do need to use slightly curved spring bars.

Super comfortable! Really like the textured look and feel.
Hi everyone,
I have been looking to buy an Oceanus - either the S100 or the T200. I noticed they come in different colours, with lighter and darker bracelet versions.
I prefer lower profile watches (and usually try to avoid very flashy silver), so my questions are:
Is the silver S100 too flashy? I read somewhere that since it is titanium it actually looks like a darker silver. Is that true? Is it less flashy than the silver T200?
Which is the least flashy version of these watches? I also liked the dark bracelet versions because of that.
I can’t really try them on as I would need to order online, hence me asking for feedback.
Thank you!
