r/CashApp

Im at a complete loss of words.
Had two conversations with Cash App support that were abruptly ended when they couldn’t solve my issue. I spoke with a 3rd representative about the poor customer service I’d been receiving so far. They were empathizing and gave me their word they weren’t going to do the same thing. The irony is almost comical
Cashapp account frozen for 8 months
Please somebody help everytime I try to sell my assets or withdraw it just says error and I have appealed four times and never receive any emails or updates please I have over $1000 that’s been frozen for almost a year
What is going on with all the accounts getting suspended lately?
I’ve been seeing so many comments and posts literally in the past few days of people getting suspended. I just now got a text from a friend about her account getting suspended also…I am now a little worried myself. So is this new? What’s causing this?
Has anyone dealt with a Cash App mobile deposit reversal with no proof provided?
Has anyone dealt with a Cash App mobile check deposit reversal like this?
Back in February and again in April, I attempted to mobile deposit a $2,513 check through Cash App multiple times. The deposit never successfully posted to my account, so I eventually cashed the check physically at a bank instead.
Later, Cash App suddenly applied a chargeback to my account and my balance became around -$2,137. My previous balance was around $375, which mathematically points to a $2,513 reversal.
The issue is that during my dispute and CFPB complaint, Cash App repeatedly referenced a completely different $2,637 check that was unrelated to the disputed transaction.
I repeatedly requested proof that the $2,513 check was ever actually funded before the reversal, including:
deposit confirmation
transaction ledger/history
cleared check image
ACH trace or processing records
But they never provided any documentary evidence. Their final response was basically just saying the issue was “already resolved.”
What frustrates me most is not even the money — it’s that they kept referencing a different check amount instead of directly addressing the disputed transaction and providing proof.
Has anyone else experienced something similar with Cash App mobile check deposits or unsupported reversals?
Cash App deactivated
So my Cash App is permanently deactivated for who knows what ?? I buy items on offer up and Facebook marketplace often and also was using the “borrow money” feature they never tell you what terms and conditions I so called violated this is so unprofessional are there any apps like a Cash App? Let me know pls
Honestly didn’t think I would get out the cycle.
The feeling when I first got the Cash App notification I could draft money to the feeling when I finally paid this off are night and day. I’m tired boss, never again.
Thx 4 the motivation! I'm Free!!
After seeing so many of your success stories, I was finally able to break the borrow/reborrow cycle. It may not feel like it, but it's possible! Never again!!!
Can anyone answer this for me please
Recently started a new job and when I started I fell in the pay period where they already got paid. So I now am in the pay period where this week I'm supposed to get paid (bi-weekly on Friday). I set my DD up for my job with my Cashapp. Payroll went in and processed by my company on 5/11 (2 days ago). So should I be expecting my deposit today (2 days early Cashapp claim) or maybe tomorrow/ or just Friday? Or will it be a situation where I may not get it for in between 5 days since it's my first deposit through Cashapp?
Borrowing Limit
I wanted to test the borrowing feature CashApp offers, and I’m seriously starting to think it benefits people who struggle to pay back what they borrow more than the people who don’t.
I’ve seen endless post in here where people have 1k+ borrow limits and are struggling to pay it back. I see the same question almost on a daily basis; “I’m behind on my borrow payments, will it affect how much I can borrow in the future”.
I started my journey at a $50 limit. It increased to $100 after several borrows and repayments. CashApp wouldn’t increase to the max $175 until I set up direct deposit. I set up direct deposit 3 months ago and still stuck at $175. Never missed a payment! I spend anywhere between 3-18k per month using my card and have anywhere from 12-15k coming in monthly from direct deposits. So either the borrowing system is a joke or it’s designed to keep the people who struggle to pay back in a cycle.
Suspended due to “Invalid” Legal Last Name
I made an account, verified myself successfully (as shown in huge second pic), yet Cash App staff seem to believe that my last name is “invalid”. After telling them over 5 times (not exaggerating) that the name on my account is correct, I have still gotten nowhere with them. It’s quite insulting of how rude these guys are really (not shown in huge screenshot), so decided to just stick with PayPal.
Cashapp Deactivated
I have not used my cashapp since January, and I only used it to receive/send money with my sister in Ohio. I logged in last week and it told me I have been banned for violating their terms. I appealed and they sent me a message saying the same thing. I have no idea what I could have done wrong, but I cannot open another. Crazy stupid.
Afterpay return purchases not working?
None of my recent purchases are showing up as if I can switch to afterpay. Says I have $150 to switch but its not showing up. I've always been able to use it before and its never taken this long to show up.
$200 stolen from me
I don’t know what to do so I’m coming here. Last month someone logged into my cashapp from another device and stole $200 from me. I filed a dispute a month ago and it’s gone nowhere. I’ve called at least once a week for the past 4 weeks and the only update I’ve gotten is that they’re “looking into it”. I asked to speak to a supervisor (swear I’m not usually like that) and got an automated email saying that I should expect an update within 10 days of when the claim was first submitted. It’s been over 30 days now. If someone else has gone through something similar I would really appreciate any advice you can give me on how to resolve this.
Its not my fault so why should I pay!
I got a pink card that I drew on and am currently waiting for it to come in the mail, it told me on the 5th of May I would receive it, but its the 8th... so what's up, then I go to ask/report and its waunts me to pay 10 dollars for a new pink card and design when my 1st one was free????? Im not doing that so what can I do?
How to cancel this
I accidentally did something wrong so can you get out of this because I closed the app multiple times and it's not going away
Some advice please on the cash app afterpay card?
So the option just popped up that tells me i can order the cash app after pay card, it asked if i wanted to keep the card the saem for $0 or design my own.
So what does this new card do? like they are sending me a new card what will be the difference between it and the card i already have?
And will the card i already have still continue to work?
How screwed am i? (Dispute)
I had to file a dispute over two separate Hard Rock/Sports betting charges. i deposited $500 and $250 into my sports betting app but my account got restricted on there, i’ve attempted to resolve the issue but .. i’m now been forced to file a dispute with cash app. This is my first time having to file a dispute, how screwed am i? this was lowkey all of my money
