Hi I’m 29 I’ve had a dry flaky itchy penis for over 3 years now, I’ve been to countless amounts of doctors,men’s sexual health clinics and dermatologists all saying they don’t really know what it is and if it’s balanitis it can’t be cured. Every woman I sleep with gets the dry itchy thrush feeling so as you can tell it’s ruining my manhood and relationships. The professionals keep saying balanitis isn’t sexually transmitted but they are always itchy after having sexual encounters. I’ve tried every cream under the sun,the only one that helps temporarily is clotrimazol 10mg anti fungal cream but it then comes back after about a week. I’m at wits end with it. I am aware of the circumcision route but I’m strongly against it. Any help appreciated because it’s ruining my life and I don’t know what to do
I was diagnosed with balanitis and treated with nystatin for 2 weeks. After those two weeks redness was still there but seems to ebb and flow. Recently about 10 days ago, i noticed redness on my inner foreskin and gland. Does this still look like balanitis? Would appreciate any advice.

Been dealing with this for over a year now. I’m way too embarrassed to go to the doctor about it. I believed it happened after a masturbation session.
I also did get a new toy at the time. I’ve had friction burn before and it would only take a week or two before things settled down and everything was back to normal.
The spot doesn’t spread and it gets worse with friction and masturbation so i try to avoid it. It doesn’t smell, it’s dry but has a wet shiny look to it.
I only rinse with warm water and air or pat dry.
I have tried a couple ointments like aquaphor and cera ve healing ointments and skin barrier repair but nothing seems to completely heal my skin down there.
Did also try 2% miconazole nitrate for a bit.
Some days it feels normal and some days it just gets irritated on its own again. I really need this to go away already before i lose my mind.
