Cambridge Drinking Alliance (CDA) meeting this Saturday 11th April at The Panton Arms @ 1630
🍺 Cambridge Drinking Alliance Meeting 04 April 4:30pm @ The Old Spring 🍺
This Saturday, 04 April, we will meet starting @ 4:30pm at The Old Spring, Ferry Path.
The Cambridge Redditors' Saturday Afternoon Drinking Alliance is for:
All those Redditors that will ask and have asked about how to make friends in Cambridge.
All those Redditors who are keen to spend their Saturday meeting up with perfect Redditor strangers.
Redditors who want to try to iron out or refine their social awkwardness.
Rules: Be kind and respectful to others and, as always, don't be creepy.
Please note: This is a social group, not a place to find hook ups.
We also now have our own sub and a WhatsApp group, don't forget to ask to join when you come along.
I will update this thread with where we're sitting and how to identify us once we are at the pub.
Language Swap
Good morning polyglots! This Wednesday , just like every Wednesday, is LANGUAGE SWAP NIGHT!!!😎
So if you fancy practising a language, or just want to meet some nice people and socialise, come to The Six Bells. Any level is welcome and languages change depending on participants.
If you haven't been before, don't worry, we are very friendly and we will welcome you!
⏰From 7:30pm onwards ⛱️At the Six Bells pub, Covent Garden, Cambridge - We'll be on the left as you walk in 💷 Free, no need to book 🍻Buy a drink to support your independent pub if you can
See you then!
🌟The Language Swap is a safe space! There is zero tolerance for sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism and any other oppressive ideology🌟
As a side note, it's easy to get stuck at the same table sometimes, feel free to mix and mingle a bit from time to time and meet other people. And if someone comes to your table, do your best to welcome and include them.
