Should Rakuten sell the Monkeys?

Welp, 2025 was a magical comeback season for Rakuten. After 6 painful years, the Monkeys are back on the top. Brothers were the victims YET again (typical Monkeys, sorry to Brothers fans). Lamigo won that 2025 Taiwan Series, not Rakuten. But uh, this team has already been plagued since the start of Rakuten ownership. They let Hong I-Chung go, let Lamigo legends and vets like 朱育賢, 陳俊秀, 翁瑋均,陳禹勳, 郭嚴文and others. And don't forget, Hagens, a dominant closer. They let him go too. And now? Right after the championship? 黃子鵬? And furthermore, not really game related, but some of the Rakuten girls. Literal veterans during the Lamigo days, who kept the Monkeys DNA and spirit alive, and they LET them go TOO! And then, we have the damn food and housing scandals, late in paying the Rakuten Girls, a small $160 Championship bonus and did not pay the celebration feast. And now, are fielding dudes who we don't even know, while most of the vets and stars like Lin li and Liao Jian Fu are in the minor/2nd team, and the team is sitting at no.5 in the league rn! Really. Rakuten needs to be forced out. They CANNOT operate a damn professional baseball team. The only thing they care about is brand recognition and money. Whether it be the Monkeys, the Eagles, and even Vissel Kobe. Rakuten is a cancer to sports. Rakuten buying the Monkeys is already a disgrace. They literally bought a dynasty and decided that they stop winning trophies every year. What a joke. What a damn joke. They're cheapskating and expect to "win". Like, RAKUTEN is a CORPORATE GIANT WITH BILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND CAN'T EVEN RUN A TAIWANESE TEAM PROPERLY! What a DISGRACE! They don't deserve the Monkeys. Rakuten does not deserve the Monkeys.

Hello everyone, I am planning on going to my first CPBL game in Taipei!

The days I might be able to attend a game are May 29, May 31, June 2 and June 3! I’m just wondering what would be the best matchup to see with the games at either the Taipei Dome or Tianmu Stadium during those days?

For games at the Taipei Dome, do they sell jerseys for both teams?

And what would be the best way to get tickets?

Any extra advice, help or information is really appreciated! Thank you so much

It seems that netizens, perhaps CTBC Brothers fans in particular, grows weary of team's performance. So I feel that might be an interesting time to conduct a poll. It is MC, and below are the choices:

  1. May

  2. June

  3. July

  4. August

  5. September

  6. October

  7. After the season 2026

So far the season hasn't really gone as expected but it is only the first month.

Most predictions here had the Brothers #1 or #2

All predictions had the Dragons #4 or lower

The Hawks were picked 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th

Which teams do you think will continue to outperform/underperform? Which teams will move up/down a lot?

I think the Hawks continue to stay in the top half but I think the Lions will move into first.
