Recommendations

I (20M) need some advice/recommendations, I am in Mexico City, staying near Polanco until June 8th. I am here to learn spanish (i've enrolled in a school) along with completing a research project for my university back home. I am studying what it means to be a man in Mexico City as this is where my families from.

I would love any recommendations for my time here, whether food, bars, places to explore/visit, or any places for me to meet people to interview. I have done all the touristy things with family before but I really want to know where do locals hang out and meet friends.
