How old was the oldest recruit in your Academy Class?

If your in the same boat as me being over a year of clearance hit me up, I was cleared May of 2025 & talked to someone that works at the academy with information..

the cadet handbook was revised in april 2026 and the cadet handbook test was revised in july 2025 so some of the fill in blanks are not in the handbook as they have been rewritten you just have to give an estimated guess

I somehow don't see this changing much

So I applied on January 2025 and was cleared April 2026. Besides the background process I feel like my application process went by quickly compared to others I know like my medical and psych evaluation I was cleared on both within a week. So my question is does anyone know if that’s a good sign on maybe getting an offer quickly as well or is it just luck? I know there’s others that have applied before me and haven’t even been through the medical and psych just curious if anyone is in the same boat.

For those of you in the academy coming to Tehachapi in May , will you guys be touring the prison? Prior to graduation

Hello, I will be attending the class beginning in June. With the summer heat rolling in how do you guys store your phone in your car while at the academy? I'm concerned my car might get too hot and lead to damage. Thanks in advance!
