Hey yall don’t be like me and walk away from donation tables around the school, do not be a nice person lol. Today there is a table for an autism program and they will sound all bubbly and shit then try to get you to make a donation. As to which made me walk away and I googled them, showing that 90% of their money doesn’t even go to charity. Do not make a donation. This is a warning to all my people walking up the hill towards the 1 train.

I am curious about what happens to Grove students after they graduate. What jobs do they end up in and whats their salary (if you don't mind). Also how long did you took to find a job? What was your gpa + projects + amount of internships?

I got my results back and couldnt find anything on the internet about what math 19000 meant

I don’t think I’m going to pass ME 246 and I wanted to take it in the summer. It really depends on my final exam. It says that I need department approval, would that mean I talk to Deborah Moore or do I talk to my advisor about this? Also when would I get to see my final grade for this class and when is the last day to apply for summer classes? And if I fail it again in the summer do I get put on academic probation?

Hi! I’m an international student and I recently got accepted into the Computer Science program at CCNY (Grove School of Engineering).

I’ve seen a lot of people online saying that Grove is very competitive and difficult to get into, especially for engineering majors. However, my experience felt surprisingly straightforward, and now I’m a bit confused.

I’m trying to understand:

How selective is Grove really for incoming students?

Is it harder to get in from high school vs. internally (after starting at CCNY)?

Are there common reasons why students don’t get accepted into Grove right away?

I’d really appreciate hearing about other people’s experiences, especially international students. Thanks!

This idea got me thinking, say you did manage to get a C- in your overall class grade, does that still count as a C overall and you can move on to the next grade? I know this is the case whenever it comes to Math, but what about other subjects like General Chemistry, General Physics, etc.

I know this is gonna sound dumb with what I'm gonna say but do I have a chance to get into Grove when I got 2 Ds (math and science) from my previous school? I am a transfer student who's really wants to get into Grove, but I am scared that I am wasting my time at City College as I already failed one of the pre-reqs of not getting a C or below in science. I've met with my HUB advisor and he said they don't really care about my grades from my previous school but after some time on reddit I am really worried if thats true. I know it's my fault that I gotten the 2 Ds from my previous school and that I shouldn't let my family situation get the best of me. But I really want to know if I'm wasting my time here and if I'm automatically disqualified.

Looks like extra security measures, lockdown in effect. Any 1 no why? Anyone seen Boudreau lately?
