Finally got my license today!

I've been taking weekly riding lessons since October and today I finally passed the last exam for my license. I quite liked my lesson bike (a Suzuki SV 650), but three weeks of having to stare at my beautiful Hornet after I bought it without being able to ride it was definitely long enough! Already signed up for a slow manoeuvres course and a cornering course to keep on learning. On to new adventures 😁😍

Do you guys have a helmet lock mod on your motorcycle?

Which one did you use? I saw the standard helmet lock on motorcycle but I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to use a helmet lock that already works with the key in some way so I don't have multiple keys. I'm willing to put in time and effort to get it working that way if needed.

Hi, i am new to reddit in general, i use it pretty much to see if anyone has had the same problems as me in general. But since this bike is relatively new (compared to the mt07) i have had issues finding people that share the same opinion on this bike as me.
I drove 1030km c.ca and had a minor slide which, by the way, caused a lot of damages (i recommend wheel and chassis tampons as first mod ever).
I really like the bike: it doesn’t feel like a 192kg machine and the engine is really the best part, the power delivery is smooth and has power in every rpm unlike the mt07 which is twitchy and is useless to use above 7k rpm.

DOWNSIDES
Coming to the downsides, has anyone here felt like the rear shock bounces a little? The front fork is too soft and not as much precise as i wanted.
Sure its a 7000€ bike (i got it with huge sales here in Italy, 7k keys in hand) But i felt like the MT07 (2025) is a lot more precise and has way harder suspensions both front and rear. And the front Of the MT feels planted on the ground while the front of the hornet feels off, it doesn’t give much confidence, as if it could slip in any moment. Has anyone noticed that or is it because my form on the bike isnt good while cornering? I know i have little to none experience on bikes, but i really want to know because i dont feel too safe cornering.
Thanks🙏

Took the new Hornet to MC Mecca (tail of the dragon)

Roads and most surrounding roads have fresh pavement. Weather couldn’t have been better for 2 of 3 days. This bikes natural habitat is in the twisties.

Absolutely loved it as you’d expect, got 1k miles on it before the trip so I’m still getting used to the bike. Was very comfy with my Buell on the dragon but I have had that bike for decades now.

Shad side case

Took almost a month from when I ordered them to when they got to me

Super easy to install

We'll make it more viable to go get groceries on the bike

I can update if there's issues with the exhaust but I don't think it'll be a problem

At this point, all I've got left to do is an exhaust, (maybe) cruise control, and some heated grips.

I'm working on a review of the luggage and Shad's mounting system currently. All I'll say for now is that it looks better than I was expecting.

I bought this beauty of a bike last week! Currently still taking riding lessons with my final test scheduled next week, so after a short test ride at the dealership it's been quietly mocking me from the backyard. It is a bit more bike than I was initially planning on buying, as my lesson bike is a 650cc so I was looking at Z650s or MT-07s but then this one caught my eye and I couldn't resist it at all. Happy to be joining the club soon!

Can the Pearl White Eclutch not be ordered in the states?

I’m planning on purchasing a 2026 Honda Hornet EClutch. But have noticed you can only pick between Black and Blue Metalic when placing an order online. Blue would be my 2nd option. Is anyone aware if dealers will get these bikes in white with the eclutch? I think the white shows off the lines a lot better than the other colors. And the red frame looks great on it.

Most fun bike I ever owned.

Would like to keep it looking great and would appreciate if you could share where to get some crash protection that would fit?

Please share links on what you have used in the US-market.

What other mods do you recommend... Please share in this post links, descriptions and photos of your mods... Would be great to have a thread dedicated to mods... focused on the US-market...

Hey folks,

I've recently moved where my commute to work has now doubled to 1hr one-way.

I recently finished my M2 course. I've been looking at the Honda hornet 750 as a potential first bike for my commute to work.

I'm 5'10" 160lbs if that matters.

Wondering if I'm making a good choice here? I'd be spending about 95% of that commute on the highway.

I'd be passing a lot of trucks both ways. So I do have concerns for wind. I'm not a fan of giant windshields. Would a meter visor make much of a difference?

Any suggestions on another bike? Not a fan of cruisers and I haven't found any touring bikes that look nice to me either.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Clutch and brake levers for e clutch

Hello everyone,

my new Honda CB750 Hornet with eClutch arrived this week, and now I would like to replace the clutch and brake levers. However, I haven’t been able to find any compatible aftermarket options so far.

Has anyone already found suitable levers or knows a manufacturer that offers parts specifically for the eClutch model?

Any recommendations or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I don't need a new bike; I want a new bike, and so I'm pretending I can afford it and that I don't need to first sell my minibike and the old Honda I don't ride, ditch two cars and buy another car, and get the old horse trailer truck moving again.

I live in a world of fantasy that pretends none of that is more important than a new bike I likely won't ride very much, or maybe I will?

I don't commute; I work from home. I'm struggling with legit adding a bike to my lifestyle, because the last one didn't really take hold in a way I'd imagined.

I imagine slapping bags on for occasional 300-mi road trips, bombing around this boring little town on weekends while I let the grass grow too high and the constant house repairs fester like sore wounds, and exploring other places an hour or so away, and otherwise going to, I dunno, Walmart?

And so I'm browsing dealer inventory, there are zero 2026 models yet, and several 2025 models. I know how to shift but if I won't incur a price penally for E-Clutch, waiting is an option.

And I have a latent feeling I should show up to the MSF course and give one of those silly 5-min motivational speeches to the class, as a pointless "thank you" to the coaches who graduated me against their better judgement some years ago, when I accidentally went full-throttle around the big sweeper in the combined final test, peg scraping, engine redlining, clutch-limiting, coach waving his arms and screaming, class-cheering what-the-hell-was-that-you-just-did (hey, I kept in in the lane and came to the proper stop, so 10/10).

What do you charge per hour to deal with my neurosis? Thanks.

Hey fellow Hornet riders! I'm looking for a good tail tidy since the Honda one is eye jarring. Any recommendations of options sold in EU (with website) would be greatly appreciated. I have a 2024 model.

Thank you so much in advance!

Edit1: Ordered the AliExpress one! What other things should I get for the CB750?

Are aux lights a thing for the Hornet?

Can they be a thing? I'm wondering if anyone tried adding aux lights to help see and being seen on the road. Would love to see some inplementations on the Hornet CB750 2023-202X

Feel free to share options or if that's even a possibility

Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this issue before I take the time to send it to the dealer every time I accelerate going over 80 to 90 mph I get a speed weave, I am using a loose grip and it helps a little bit to tuck but it still feels a little unstable, tires are proper psi. It didn't do this when it was brand new and I'm at 2500 miles now and it's just been progressively getting worse since around 1000 miles. I'm around 250 pounds and I had the rear preload set to my weight by the dealer. It did this before I added the shitty windscreen but adding made it worse so it is coming off asap. I have to be in a perfectly tucked track position the whole time or it wobbles over 90
