USS Enterprise heading for Midway to deal a decisive blow to Kido Butai.

My biggest set so far. 2000+ pieces. High quality. Smooth building except for stickers. Bought for 172 PLN (~47$) from Aliexpress. Don't know the brand but she's beautiful.

Got this fun little Swedish tank destroyer from a brand called Sluban.

General impression of the brand is rather positive. Brick quality was a bit of hit and miss; some pieces were smoother than others. Some seemed to come from different manufacturing lines or factories, but the colors are consistent. Didn't agree with the hand-tool colors so I spray painted them black. Other than that the parts puller is the coolest one I've ever seen, shaped like a little crocodile with real prints and all. Also the minifigures were surprisingly articulate, necks and hands are on ball joints and the legs can rotate in sideways axis. Sadly no handguns or rifles though I have a lot of them left over from the 12GO kits so might as well use those.

Onto the build itself. What I found interesting is it has an actual pivoting suspension mechanism, controlled by rotating a knob in the back of the tank. Strv103 had a completely fixed gun and relied entirely on the suspension and tracks for aiming the barrel. I'm always fixated on how well the suspension works on these so this was certainly a welcome bonus.

Tracks stay surprisingly well in place and while the rollers look far from realistic I'm willing to give this one a pass because the price was, shall we say enticingly competitive. Another minor complaint is it uses stickers instead of prints, although once again it redeems itself by being the kind with the peel-off edges leaving only the print itself.

Instructions were really good and straightforward, build was more relaxing than anything (coming from a recent two week binge of building a 12GO WTE100, Cobi Maus and the Lego Delorean)

I'd say 9/10

Zerstorer 45 MOC

On my quest to collect or build every major Panzer 4 variant out there, I present my take on the Zerstorer 45.

I decided to go with the Mobilwagen form found in various media and "War Thunder", instead of the theoretical planned Wirbelwind-style for three reasons. First, the reference materials for the Wirbelwind style consist entirely of artist renditions. AKA guesses. Educated guesses, but guesses nonetheless. As we have 3D models of the Mobilwagen version I have much more to work with. Second, a 3cm Wirbelwind would look... Exactly like a Wirbelwind... Lego, Cobi, Quan Guan etc dont have a pole that accurately reflects the 2cm gun barrel, so they use the larger barrel more fitting of a 3cm or 3.7cm barrel. As such I can make the argument that any of my Wirbelwinds are in fact a Zerstorer 45, and I didnt want to go down that path. Third, this version *did* exist. They took a Mobilwagen, removed the 3.7cm Flak43 turret and installed the 3cm Flakvierling turret in its place. While mass-produced Zerstorer 45s would have likely been made into Wirbelwind layouts, this is the only for that historically existed.

So what is the Zerstorer 45? Well, its a *extremely* late-war German SPAAG prototype. Two was made, and one sent off with the sole Ostwind 2 (another MOC I did a few weeks back) to the Armored Replenishment and Training Regiment stationed in Ohrdruf/Thuringia, where both prototypes were lost to history. The Zerstorer 45 was another SPAAG based on the Panzer 4 chassis, and would have mounted the quad-barrelled 3cm Flakvierling turret, giving it much greater range and stopping power compared to the earlier quad-barrelled 2cm Flakvierling turret, and far greater ROF than the 3.7cm Flak43 (the same idea the Zwillingflak43 (44?) installed in the Ostwind 2 prototype aimed to achieve). A Mobilwagen was used for the testbed vehicle and was sent to testing in early 1945. The testing grounds were overrun by the Allied forces no long after, and the vehicle was lost to history.

I made many changes to the donor vehicle of this build; a QuanGuan PzIVG. You can see comparisons with my modified Panzer 4E which uses the same base build, just with a corrected gun and radio placement. The front running boards were extended slightly to allow the front armor to be lowered further, the exhaust was changed to more accurately resemble a late-model Panzer 4, the engine deck was shorted by one stud to fit the rear wall, the turret mechanism was moved forward one stud to make the gun mount centered on the deck instead of the entire tank, and the deck was lowered to create the working bay. The gun is my own design, based off one of those random German quad 2cm turrets you can find all over the place. I compacted the guns into the proper 2x2 layout of the 3cm flakvierling turret, added the gunner's seat, and added platforms for the loaders to work from. Small details included the working rear hatch, working driver and radio operator hatches inside the armored walls, spare ammunition boxes alongside the walls, weapons racks and ammo cans for the crew, a spare barrel mounted to the rear running board, the hull MG being covered, and chain was added for locking the walls together.

Up next is probably going to be either a 3.7cm early war Mobilwagen (again using a QuanGuan Pz4G as a starting point), an Ostwind using a 12GO Wirbelwind (same base as my Ostwind 2, but actually a more detailed design as I have to design the pointed Ostwind "nose"), or a PzIV/70(A) using a 12GO Pz4H (likely waiting on my Cobi JgPz4 and Pz4/70(V) to arrive for reference first). I also have started designs for the final two Panzer 4 variants; a Dicker Max and a Kugelblitz - though those are still quite a ways out. I may also redesign my PzSflIVc to be more to scale; its currently more like 1:25 scale.

TK2 TK8003 - Tiger I S33

TK did a very good job here, I think this is the best interior i've seen yet from a Tiger I. The model is a specific S33, an an early production Tiger I tank assigned to the 8th Company, SS Panzer Regiment 2 of the 2nd SS Panzer Division "Das Reich" on the Eastern Front. The Chinese letter (福) written upside down on the front and side of the hull, means the arrival of good fortune. TK2 make a good replica, very detailed, especially the interior. Tracks are OK, not the best. TK2 use a lot of custom molded parts, even the cable are custom molded, bended to shape already. No minifigures included, i just borrow some from 12GO to demonstrate how you could display the set with open interior and minifig as the instruction suggest.

The only complain i have with this one is the instruction, very hard to see, picture is dark, outline between bricks is thin, my eyes strained after hours of build.

I made a video building and review it here, you can check it out: https://youtu.be/cPzX2ofLx00

Hi there folks. Today I bring you my BMO-T MOC. About a week ago I was researching T-72 variants because I wanted to play around with making a new MOC and thought it'd be easy to build off an existing hull. To no surprise at all, the Russians had the same idea and they came up with the BMO-T. Not their best idea, it was an attempt at making the T-72 into an APC. What they came up with wasn't a tank and wasn't an APC. As a result, the few they made are finding new lives as roadside attractions in Ukraine before they will doubtlessly find more productive jobs as razor blades.

On to the build. After settling on this as my next MOC I set out to research the BMO-T and studied drawings, renders, and photographs (most of which are the model's closeups after being featured in an FPV drone montage). After a few days of working it out I had the entire module built up. The hardest part of this endeavor was that I had to completely disassemble my Marder IFV MOC (which I've posted before) for the blocks and smooth plates. This was a difficult and emotional undertaking.

The bulk of this is all Cobi. The machine gun, black skirt plates, and Zwastika plate came from my Quanguan T-90A. Everything else is pure Cobi. The beautiful part of this build is that it required almost no modification of the T-72 hull. To be safe, I ordered a fresh T-72 model to use as the base (mostly because the solid-green hull would've clashed with my camo M1R). With the exception of a couple extra 2x5 plates and some modifications to the engine and engine deck the hull is original, and could be easily converted back into a T-72 should I wish. Seeing as how I already have the M1R I'll keep this as is and use the leftover parts for other MOCs and mods. Namely the gun barrel, they'll work perfectly as ATGM tubes.

I will mourn the loss of my Marder IFV MOC, as it was my first serious MOC and thus had sentimental value, but I'm very happy with how this turned out and wouldn't change a thing. And hey, with the Stryker coming out soon there's a chance Cobi will one day make their own Marder IFV (and Bradley. And Leopard 1. And T-64. And Chieftain...)

Any ideas on how to clean dust from this beast?

Tried cheaper blowers but no luck. Please don't tell me I need to buy a Makita blower cause I'll live off stale bread and water by the end of the month lol

Is Tk2 scale correct?

Finally, they release Tiger 2 ! but I am wondering this is correct scale? I think it is little bit bigger 1:28 scale because 10.286 meter devide 28 is 367mm. of course they didn't say 1:28

12GO IS-2

Very nice from 12GO, similar to the T-34-85, but turret is more sturdy, tracks work great, my only complain is the muzzle brake is very easy to spin. All bricks are fully printed, No.432 is a tank from 7th Separate Guards Heavy Tank Brigade, this model is very popular in video game and model kit also.

I made detail review video here, you can check it out if you like: https://youtu.be/6C3MxaiVGns

it has been more four months since I got this. I have busy too much : ( Anyway, building this is fun. because they designed every vehicle differently include this Sherman. I impressed they separated hull top and bottom in building. beside, they made exactly every deferent angle on hull of Sherman! Engine room is more detail than 12go Sherman. Track and all wheels are rolling well! but Assemble chains is difficult because it is too much tiny. except it, quite lovely set : )
