Same bed but painted with fabric paint, paint testers to do the wall, Dalmatian spots from eBay and a few prints from Etsy and it was complete
Just need a fitted wall lamp then it will be complete
So, a couple of days ago, when I was rearranging my room, I started noticing something that I never focus on, garment hooks. I never thought they were anything better than some practical utility objects, but lately, I have noticed that they have become mini decorations.
During my time surveying my space, I noticed that newer designs are more stylish and purposeful. Rather than simple shapes, I have observed geometric shapes, matte finishes, and even art-themed hooks resembling wall decor, and not storage equipment. Others are textured and others combine materials such as wood + metal giving them a modern appearance.
When I looked up some of the concepts on the Internet, I saw that there is a huge trend toward functional art, in the form of hooks, which are robust enough to be used as coats, yet still appear to be a part of the interior decoration. Black hooks, old fashioned brass types, and even shapes that were found in nature are in trend.
A simple visit to such websites as Alibaba demonstrates that there is much of these contemporary decorative designs in large scale.
The new trend, as I have observed, is straightforward: hooks are no longer secretive - they are a part of the rooms design.
It is all speculative, but it is interesting to see how even details such as hooks are being used as design elements.
