Naming my individual birds is normal, right???

My first post here!

If anyone could appreciate the time and effort that went into this endeavor, it's probably the r/hummingbirds crew.

Next I want remix this as the MegaMan boss intro montage, or maybe as the Golden Girls intro. Those are super niche though, I want to hear your ideas too!

OC. Hope you enjoy :)

which birds are you inviting to your 4/20 festivities

title. will probably be late in some time zones but whatever here are my contenders:

* shoebill stork. a little scary looking, but i feel a caring vibe from them. the one you can depend on to open the door when the food delivery arrives and get you water when you need it

* white breasted nuthatch. infectious laugh, made more dangerous by this thing climbing the walls

* eastern whip-poor-will. i just think it needs it

* common eider. he is so in awe of the world (ooooooh!) and it makes you appreciate life more...

* black vulture. stops speaking but they are so pure of heart. they bring a certain aspect to the vibe. you understand. things simply would not be the same without black vulture.

I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS BIRD SINCE I WAS A CHILD

Thank you for waking me up at 6:30am. It was so nostalgic to hear you again

I looked it up why I haven't heard this bird in so long, and it turns out they're near threatened?? Have they always had this status since the early 2000s?

Carolina Wrens Be Like

I read one comment on here that said Carolina Wrens sound like they're saying skibidi over and over and now I can't unhear it.

There's one that lives outside my house and now I have to listen to this every morning,

I'm so sorry. 😔
