I wanted to share a frustrating experience I just had with Incognito Concealment and get some recommendations for a replacement.

I got an M9 as an early military retirement gift to myself. There’s a certain type of holster I’ve gotten for other pistols that I really like, called the MIC (minimal inside carry). MIC doesn’t make one for the M9, so I searched for something similar from another manufacturer, and found Incognito Concealment. I ordered one, which turned out to be a huge mistake.

The Issue:

I ordered a holster for a standard M9. Incognito sent a holster for an uncommon Beretta variant, so it doesn’t properly fit over the trigger guard. Additionally, even if it did fit, the holster has such a wide opening in front that it would allow foreign objects to work their way between the holster and the pistol (defeating the purpose of a holster in the first place).

The Comparison (See Photos):

• Photo 1: My M9 next to the Incognito holster. You can see the geometry mismatch, especially in the shape of the trigger guard and the lower contours of the frame.

• Photo 2: My M&P Shield in a MIC holster. This is how the concept is supposed to work: a snapped, contoured fit with zero gap.

The "Customer Service":

When I reached out to the owner, Joe, to explain the problem, he told me the holster was fit checked on an M9, that the gap was "intentional,” and that I could send it back for him to remold it at an additional expense. I declined to pay him any more money, and after several back and forth emails requesting a refund, his final response was literally just a smile emoji: 😊

I’ll be initiating a chargeback with my CC company since the product is fundamentally incompatible with the model ordered, but I’m still without a holster.

Does anyone know a reputable maker who actually molds these minimalist "taco" style trigger guard holsters (with the lanyard) specifically for the squared M9/92FS frame? I love the MIC holster for my Shield, but they don’t seem to offer one for the Beretta. I’m looking for something that actually "clicks" into place and protects the trigger properly.

Appreciate any leads!

Beretta 92FS circa 2007

This is the second time I've had this happen, but I don't know if it's the same mag or not. I had another issue happen two or three rounds in on the same mag where the nose hit square up on the top of the chamber. No double-feed, looks like the rounds might be stripping off the mag weirdly? Idk. It only happened with this mag so far, so I'm seperating it and marking it for now.

Optic mounting problems

I’m wanting to get the OSIGHT SE green dot for my Beretta 92xi Corsa but I’m having some trouble finding a mount for it. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Dlah but ngl the website confuses me a bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also I think I’m going to get the sight off of amazon because it’s so much cheaper. It’s the same thing right?

32 rd mag sleeve specs

Would anyone have either an stl file, or measurements, for the sleeves on these mags? I have quite a few 30/32 round mags, and they all wobble a bit in my CX4 Storm. Maybe just wrapping some hockey tape will work on the cheaper plinker mags.

Where are my lefties at?!

Got this 92FS off a trade. Missed the M9 I carried in Afghanistan. Serial lookup says 2003 92D, but the slide says 92FS. So, probably in LEO armory at one point.

Upgraded: Mag release to the oversized checkered, D spring, steel trigger, and trigger spring. 15-round EDC mag with 124gr XTP and two 20-round mags for FMJ range days. (GA gun laws are wild, y'all!)

Got the left-hand Beretta leather holster off eBay for $25.

Next upgrades: threaded barrel and Beretta compensator for that aggressive look and recoil reduction.

What y'all think?

It's my first gun and being a productive of the 70s and 80s I had to go with a Beretta ( thanks Riggs and McClain). It did have a problem with jamming when I first got it the person with me said it definitely needed a cleaning maybe a few to get right. I did and I also put some grips. It actually has a birthday coming up on May 8th! Any tips that I can get I would appreciate it.
