I’m someone who really loves coding and aiml, looking forward to build saas/startup, content creation basically a way to earn money from 1-2y itself even a little bit but I don’t want to miss out on college life either and it’s getting confusing asffff.

Hey there, I’m a 12th pass out this year (18F). PCM. I was initially planning for BTech CSE, but I kinda fcked JEE due to personal issues. I’m thinking of joining Bennett, I was anyway aiming for a Private college and Noida ain’t far from my residence too. Rn I’m contemplating between BTech, BSC or B.Arch. I have a list of courses lined up which I’ll be starting by maybe second semester, so I’ve no issues doing BTech from private college. And I don’t think I’m up for a drop year.
I’m not expecting much of a scholarship in this college, I have a rough grip in academics this year. Though I was looking for a foreign exchange program. I did enquire a bit and got to know that the uni does not provide Exchange program for CSE but it has a good global exposure in other fields, and I’ve strong English proficiency marks.
Anyone got any suggestions for me?
I’ve recently started hanging out with a new friend circle here. Most of the girls in this group are very outgoing and confident, with a strong sense of fashion. They often wear bold and revealing outfits(some amount of their jugs are exposed ), and many of them are also into things like smoking and drinking.
I joined this group because I genuinely like their extroverted nature and the energy they bring. However, I’ve been feeling a bit uncomfortable lately because they’ve started encouraging me to dress and behave like them. Personally, I prefer more modest clothing, both because of my own comfort and my family’s values. I also don’t feel comfortable with habits like drinking or smoking.
I’m finding myself stuck between wanting to be part of the group and wanting to stay true to my own values. I don’t want to feel pressured into doing things that don’t align with who I am, but at the same time, I don’t want to lose this social circle.
I’m unsure if this kind of lifestyle is becoming the norm among people my age, or if I’m just in a specific environment. I’d really appreciate advice on how to handle this situation, how to maintain my boundaries while still being part of the group, if that’s possible.
Seriously not getting a gf in a uni like bennett is shame in itself and being a virgin is more shameful on top

hi guys. I'm thinking of taking admission in bennett university and i scored 77.8 percent in my board exams didn't give jee or cuet tho. can i possibly get cse (with or without and specialization) with these marks?
1)campus mai girls and boys dono 24*7 ghum sakte hai, matlab raat ko bhi?

I don’t know if you guys would agree with me or not, but there seems to be a serious lack of transparency regarding Bennett University placements.
1. Misleading average placement figures
If you search on Google for Bennett B.Tech CSE average placements, the number that usually shows up is 11 LPA. From what I understand, that figure was true for the 2023 batch, when student intake was lower and the tech hiring market was booming. Even now, their official website still highlights this 11 LPA average, which feels questionable because market conditions and batch size have changed significantly.
2. Lack of placement-related student discussions
For almost any college/university, if you search deeply enough, you’ll find students ranting, venting, or discussing their placement experiences. That usually gives you at least a rough picture of the reality. But in Bennett’s case, that kind of organic discussion is surprisingly scarce, which makes it difficult to gauge the actual placement scenario.
3. Almost no negative reviews
This is another thing that feels odd. Every institution—even top ones like Indian Institute of Technology Bombay—has criticism and bad reviews online. But Bennett seems to have very little visible criticism (at least from what I’ve seen). That lack of mixed feedback feels unusual.
4. No updated company list for campus placements
There doesn’t seem to be a clear, updated list of companies visiting campus. The list on the official website appears to be old (mostly 2023 data) and, from what I’ve noticed, even includes off-campus opportunities, which can create a misleading impression.
Take LPU as an example—you’ll find plenty of people ranting, venting, trolling, and discussing placements. If you search patiently, you can piece together a fairly realistic picture of their placement situation. With Bennett, that kind of information is almost non-existent.
Overall, I’m not saying Bennett placements are bad—but the lack of accessible, updated, and transparent information makes it hard to trust the narrative being presented.

so its as the title says I got 82 percentile and I want to apply for cse and I saw a few post that said that the cut off was above 90 or smth and I was wondering if I should apply and if I do then is it worth it? I am giving other exams but I am worried that what if I might not do well in those and want to keep this as a back up also can I apply later or do I have to do it within 5 days as the website says? please help
Hey..I just received the offer letter for btech cse this year...am 18m decent in studies got nearly 91 percentile in session 1 didnt give session 2 i chickened out and am expecting average score in boards too..tho i was quite good in studies in my childhood am quite average since 11th tho am an active cs enthusiast and even learning dsa in cpp these days i just wanted to look for a decent roommate who is you know not into things like alcohol and stuff..is serious enough to make each other accountable...and wants to utilise most out of these 4 years where we can even be helping each other out on various assignments, projects and hv a nice journey together doesnt play loud music or games with a lot of noise...is calm and respectful for my privacy too..overall i want someone who is serious and can hold me accountable as well..and can also be a nice friend of mine and make this 4 year journey memorable
Is Bennett University worth it without a scholarship?
I’m not from a rich background, but I can still afford fees. I’m just worried about whether the ROI,placements, and overall value justify spending that much
