For context: I'm building an addon that will give players a way to use their own hunger games maps with the system I'm building. No coding required (although you'll be more than free to make any changes you see fit given you have the know how) well anyways its going great, I have the core system for registering a map to work with the system along with how to receive the data in regards to chests, barriers and spawns (Among other things) But now comes the real work taking the data and using it to initialize a game. (filling chests with loot, placing barrier blocks, moving the players to spawn.)

My question: While doing this I realized that I can't seem to find a method under the dimension class for loading a chunk just for checking if it is loaded? Am I missing something? what's the best approach for this as I'll need to check if the chunk is loaded and if not I need to load it do what needs to be done there and then unload it for the sake of memory usage. I would like to design this to take longer rather than bog the system down and cause a huge lag spike. Any help is appreciated thanks in advance!

ive just really gotten into minecraft and im working on making a zoo in creative. ive got the naturalist add on and its working fine, but im looking for the nature add on by builders horizon but cant find it in the store. i can see it online so know its still available to buy. im on playstation and have the ps4 version. can someone help me find it please, or suggest another add on with different plants and grass types

hey, I'm currently making an addon where theres a "core reactor" block and i want to have it fully functional, and have a "core meltdown" but i don't know how to use animation controllers or how to make it work. if anyone can help that would be awsome! right now i have the basic models, animations, and sounds. PS. for the meltdown i want it to happen after the block is interacted with(by a iron nugget for now, and i can change/configure it later), or it has come into contact with lava. AND ONE LAST THING: the box at the top is an alarm, and im having trouble animating it spinning in place i dont think it needs anything too realistic, and im thinking of doing something like having a "shine effect" (rough example of what i mean in the first picture), and having it rotate in a circle.

Please help! I recently added Chop Chop to my survival world and long story short I don’t have the book to turn off and on the mod anymore. I’ve tried everything I could think of including going into creative to get a new one and it’s not there! How would I get a new book? TIA!

Been playing Eternal End and saw they had five types of layers for individual biomes and mannn it’s so hard doing desert builds without any sand or dirt layers like Conquest Reforged or just random CF mods. Does anyone know any marketplace Addons featuring natural layers (like snow layers but for dirt, sand, etc…)

FoxyNoTail has an experimental mod that hasn’t worked in two and a half years, but that’s all I can find.

I’m tired of realismcraft. What better? I loved the fantasy and magic aspect of realismcraft. My goal is a dark fantasy world with a lot of stuff to explore and new mobs. I’m more of a builder than someone who looks for a bunch of bosses. If the villagers could actually interact with you that would be cool.

I’ve tried actions and stuff but it’s too bouncy and playful. Loved the reflections and water though. I do own dark fantasy visuals, 1,000,000 horses, prizma, conquest(not the vibe for this) and the marketplace pass.

I really appreciate any mod pack recommendations

I have a realm with the better on bedrock addon and I’ve noticed that the vanilla animals and also the addon animals rarely spawn. How can I fix this issue?

I got the Quests Addon from the marketplace because it said it would create a natural sense of progression in the game. I'm not sure what quest I turned in to get this, but one of the rewards within the first 10 minutes of play was NINE diamond blocks?? In what way is this a reasonable sense of progression?

And yeah I can already hear the response of "if you don't like it don't use the addon", but I paid for it and if I really wanted to be handed the whole game on a platter I could have played creative mode.

The idea is simple: early-game armor made from wood planks that actually lets you blend into the trees.

Since this is my first time coding an addon, I’m really looking for feedback. Are the stats too low? Should I add a "Leaf" variant?

Does anyone know of an addon that adds decorative blocks of magic so to speak such as altars, cauldrons, potions, etc.

In the crops and farms add-on, how do I get oil? I’ve read the entire book and looked in what I believe is all of the crafting type tables. HELP!
