First and foremost much love to the Bay Area. I hail from Columbus, Ohio and I always had much love and an appreciation for the whole bay. Me coming from the land of funk (Ohio), I always had west coast artist slappin through my speakers and had that Bay influence (from popping my collar, rhyming when I speak and creating my own lingo). With that being said, Mac Dre slid on this track and by far one of my favorite tracks by him, the second verse on this song is gospel to me. Thizz in Peace to Mac Dre, his music lives on.

I can’t find a good version of DB Tha General - Intro off of his album Welcome To Tha Navy. The streaming version I’ve heard has bad audio issues at around 4 minutes in. The only other upload I found is from a random youtube account years ago and the audio quality isn’t good.

If anyone has the CD or a download of the album, or song, I’d greatly appreciate it. If you are willing to sell me the CD i will upload it for the internet so the good quality version doesn’t become lost.

Side question: Does anyone know why or if it’s true that Oakland doesn’t like DB? What did he do?
