Final Update: My power bank is a safety hazard, but Baseus wants me to pay $50 for a replacement.

Following up on my previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/BaseusGlobal/comments/1sza1eb/baseus_adaman_65w_power_bank_hardware_failure/

Baseus support (Hamy) officially acknowledged my unit has a "possible hardware/battery-related fault" and told me to "stop using it immediately for safety".

However, because I don't have the original invoice, their only solution is a $10 coupon, effectively asking me to spend $50 extra to buy a different model because the one I have is out of stock.

It’s very disappointing that a confirmed safety risk is handled as a sales opportunity instead of a responsibility. I expected more from Baseus regarding user safety.

A dock that my cat cannot knock off the desk.

My cat, who is currently staring right at you, basically runs my desk when I am working from home. She used to step on my old flat dongle and disconnect my monitors right in the middle of my work.I switched to the Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 mainly because the upright shape and heavy magnetic base mean she can rub against it without moving it an inch. It also has a physical screen lock button on top. I just hit it when I step away so I do not have to worry about her walking on my keyboard and messing up my code.

Returning my pricey clips and keeping the XC1. Much better for running errands all day

I run errands for like 4 hours every Saturday. Supermarkets malls whatever. I hate taking out my earbuds to talk to cashiers. Bought some expensive open ear clips recently but the hard plastic digs into my ears. Returned them and got the XC1. The C bridge is way softer and the cushions dont pinch at all. Wore them all morning and my ears feel totally fine. Plus the LDAC audio is pretty solid. If u need open ears for weekend chores but hate the ear pain these r a good alternative.

Offloading photos is finally not a bottleneck anymore.

Backing up folders of high res images is a daily routine for me. My previous dongle would throttle the speeds or just disconnect right in the middle of a backup. I switched to the Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 recently. Since it has 10Gbps ports my portable SSD actually hits its max write speeds. It is nice to just dump the files quickly and move on.

Hybrid workers how do you handle your desk setup? I finally switched to a one cable dock.

I bring my work laptop home three days a week. I used to hate plugging in the power cord the monitor and the keyboard separately every time I sat down. I picked up the Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 a month ago and now I just plug in one USB C cable to get everything running. It makes setting up my desk way less annoying. How is everyone else dealing with the constant laptop shuffling? Do you use a hub or just live with the cable mess?

Charging 3 devices at once with the Baseus PicoGo AM52.

I picked up the cabled version of the baseus picogo am52 recently. u can actually charge three devices at the same time with this one. i use the built in cord for my phone, the usb c port for my ipad, and the magnetic pad for my airpods. it is a solid setup for traveling light without carrying multiple wall plugs.

Hi, I have two questions about two different pairs of earbuds.

  1. I wanted to know if the Baseus XC1 earbuds can be used individually. In other words, can I use one while the other is in the charging case?

  2. I’m deciding between the Baseus XH1 headphones and the CMF Headphones Pro. Which ones do you recommend more? Or if anyone has either of them, could you share your thoughts on them so far?

Anyone using the XC1 for ebike commutes? Need to know about wind noise

I ride an ebike to work and regular in ears block out too much traffic. Looking at the XC1 since the open ear design seems safer. For anyone actually using them does the audio hold up against wind noise when riding? Want to make sure I can hear my podcasts clearly before I order.

Switched to a vertical dock so my dual monitors stop lagging.

I keep multiple dashboards open for work and my previous hub just could not handle running two screens without lagging. I picked up the Baseus Spacemate 11 in 1 to fix my WFH setup. It handles both my 4K monitors fine. The vertical stand is nice because it sits out of the way in the corner instead of taking up the middle of my desk.

Finally done with fake alerts from blowing leaves

My old setup sent me a notification every time a squirrel moved or the wind blew. I switched to the X1 Pro and the AI is actually smart enough to tell the difference between my dog and a passing car. Yesterday I watched the two 3K lenses work independently where one followed my kid on the grass while the other tracked a delivery truck on the street. It is a relief not having to check my phone for nothing every ten minutes.

Why no 10k battery gives you 10000mAh (especially wirelessly).

Seeing complaints about the capacity on the baseus picogo am52. No battery gives u exactly 10k mah because u lose power during voltage conversion, even with a cable. But wireless charging generates heat and wastes a lot more power. U lose a bigger chunk of the capacity to heat loss on the qi2.2 25w pad. If you want better efficiency, plug into the 45w c port. Use the magnet for convenience, but use the cable to maximize the charge.
