r/BannedFromReddit

I was banned from commenting on r/MarchAgainstNazis after responding to someone who made disparaging remarks and called me offensive names. Claimed I violated rules. When I asked for clarification, no one responded. A week later I followed up again, and I was permanently muted without explanation. So I can’t even contact moderators.

Oh, the irony of being banned by r/MarchAgainstNazis without explanation.

I got a 3 day ban for using the word “f**k” as in “f**k ‘em,” like “forget about them,” sarcastically. Someone said pedestrians are usually taller than a lambo on a post about that lady who ran over a lambo in her truck and I basically said “f little people and children amirite”

I appealed on day 1 and they never dropped the ban. I’m mostly upset at being accused of being a pervert. If they really thought I said something like that too 3 day ban feels wrong? It should be permenent???

I dont even know what I did.

Im not even the type of person to do or say anything ban worthy. I genuinely dont understand why I would be banned.

Accidental evasion ban, what can I do?

The mod at r/adhd banned me for something totally ok to say, but is notorious in the other adhd subs for doing this for no reason at all. Because he didn't like what you said. I posted about it in r/adhders and got over a hundred replies saying it happened to them too. I really don't think I even broke a real rule but they did vaguely claim I did something wrong.

Ok so. I got mad. I replied to the ban message very upset and used a lot of f bombs. Then I apologized, but got muted instantly. Whatever that's fair.

Unfortunately my husband has an account logged in on both our phones. He went to reply on his phone, but it was attached to my banned account and I got this evasion ban.

I've been told I can get a permanent ban from all of reddit for this and I'm scared. I need this place, I need the mental health subs, I need to talk to others like me. Is there anything I can do now to avoid it? Is it too late? I appealed from the account that would let me, the other didn't give me the option.

To make it worse I signed in on a third, totally unrelated backup account, made a comment in a far distant sub, and now they've found me there. Boom another evasion ban. Shit!

I'm so screwed aren't I? How permanent are these bans? Is it by IP? How do I get back in good standing? Ive apologized to that mod a few times now, and I filed two appeals for both accounts I hope (I'm very confused on what happened where now), and begged to not get a full ban. Apologized in the appeals.

I really don't know how to fix this. Reddit means a lot to me. I'm not even sure it'll let me post this, I tried to search appeal evasion ban and the search wouldn't even work. Jesus I did not incite violence (one of the bans says I did) I just ... Addressed a real aspect of ADHD that was already being discussed, has been confirmed to have been discussed in other posts, but the mod didnt like how I said. Its unfair. I know that happens but this is just ridiculous

If you read half of that even, thank you so much. I'll summarize below. Hopefully someone can tell me something 🤞

TL:DR. Got wrongfully banned on r/adhd, messed up using Reddit and now have two evasion bans. I'm getting the full ban, aren't I? It's just not here yet. Anyone go through this? Anyone see a way out?

Sorry for the novel. Thanks guys

second image is the comment the mods linked. it's from a pizzacake comic where she once again brags about how much she doesn't care about haters

I got banned from a subreddit that you have to be verified to post on so I messaged them multiple times trying to be verified with no response so I commented on posts (I thought this was okay while waiting for verification) and they just banned be with no explanation or anything even though I followed the rules of the subreddit, ugh so annoying.

I was banned from r/frauditors for pointing out that all three moderators like to put derogatory comments in user flair, something that the user themselves cannot edit or delete, and the moderators put in mocking derogatory statements of users of the thread that they don't agree with.

I submitted a complaint form against all three and within hours I was perma-band from the thread.

They would put derogatory comments in my user flair and other users user flair... And if I turned it off, they would turn it back on and change the derogatory statement to be something even more disparaging.

When I filled out the form and complained about it within hours I had been kicked out of the forum and thread.

This violates the user Reddit thread rules of "be a good neighbor"

The reason I know about that rule is because that's what they told me, that I "wasn't being a good neighbor" when I complained about them bullying the users that they didn't like.

Told a dude he was wrong about something in an MMO and explained why. Wasn't rude, just matter of fact. He proceeded to mute me from a dozen subs he mods, completely unrelated to the sub we were in. I've never participated in any of these subs, either and don't live in the state or region they are aimed at.

I love r/dogs and I was banned and it SUCKS

This is so frustrating, I’m banned for a mistake I made years ago trying to sell a dog. Total mistake, didn’t read the rules, I apologized. I love the sub and would love to be part of the community again but they’re upholding the ban 😭. I have a dog, he’s amazing. I won’t lie, I went through hell trying to find a good fit for my cat. I even adopted a “7 month old” that was actually a malnourished 2 year old from kijiji and had to find her a foster home. I had a Great Pyrenees puppy that I had to rehome cause my boy Murphy started spraying. Sherlock is a gem, I love him. I’m sad that they won’t revoke the ban. I think some
Mods are way too strict/ power happy.

I don’t even know why it got recommended to me bc I’m anti-gen ai

I saw this post and wanted to ask how this was bad parenting, it’s literally just informing her child

Someone replied to me and jumped to the conclusion that the mom completely banned her kid from using ai, so I replied and said that that wasn’t true

I wasn’t even showing hate to ai, all I did was ask a simple question and I got banned

Nothing escapes from leftist propaganda ig. They asked me for scholarly articles to waste my time and I had time and immediately came across images of cats on spitroasts in Haiti and I said it's a search away and I don't want to subject myself to more disturbing images and I was then banned. So many subreddits will ban you for basic facts that go against their propaganda. I'm more disappointed that this was supposed to be an educational and neutral sub but they call basic facts extraordinary claims and ban it in favor of propaganda that can be proven false in seconds.

banned from r/ShitAmericansSay for "bad faith"

Warning: If you are an American, and attempt to dispute any blatant misinformation in that subreddit in a manner that is at all favorable towards the U.S, you risk a permanent, unjustified ban! I'm sure if I had been able to send an appeal to the actual mod team I may have been unbanned, but the prick who banned me sent me a scalding, rude reply and muted me.

Utterly unprofessional behavior from whichever power tripping asshole did that. I don't even use that sub that often, but I was banned for a single harmless reply.

I said "the u.s. has freedom of religion and same-sex marriage codified into law" which was apparently the toxic and bad faith message that deserved a permanent ban.

Exposed the owner as a cyberstalker lmao

Honestly the entire ordeal spans months, so I’ll cut out the bs and keep it to the basics. Guy named busy chair fakes some sob stories which we found out due to many inconsistencies, then he fakes suicide a few times and admitted it was fake, then photoshops comments of me and a few others saying vile things, gets exposed, admits guilt. Somewhere along there he started faking being trans and it was painfully obvious, especially after he admitted it by accident during a rant.

Back to the present though, the owner of this subreddit had previously taken busy chair’s side despite the mountains of evidence, and even helps busy chair in his criminal acts (cyberstalking, defamation), and it’s discovered that this person is an active member of a discord server meant to systematically cyberstalk me as well as make fake screenshots of me saying weird shit, so I make this public and it spreads. The next day she announces she quit Reddit.

Now, here’s the thing. That’s her in the modmail, she lied about quitting because she’s using the exact same claims she did last time I conversed with her. The great part is the damage is done, enough people know about her crimes that she’s not escaping these lies. Any screenshot she tries to use against me I look in the discord server with an alt and screenshot the progress of them forging it. She won’t win, even after banning me.

DISCLAIMER TO NOT SEND HATE OR HARASSMENT TO ANYONE I MENTIONED. WE SHALL NOT STOOP TO THEIR LEVEL.

u/CT-9904_Crosshair_ — 1 day ago

Reminder that going to other subreddits to harass their mods/community is against Reddit rules and will absolutely get you banned.

Also, do not individually DM our mods to complain about your bans. We don't mute you unless you use abusive language towards us. I've already muted two people for that, and both of them immediately DMed us personally to keep antagonizing us (it was really funny)

okay thanks bye

I was banned for reporting AI POST.

I was banned from two subreddits for reporting a disgusting AI post that they themselves had marked as illegal in their community guidelines. I was banned for following the rules.

the two subreddits were affiliated.

I came across a post that was calling people who like 67 Neo nazis. Don’t get me wrong , I hate 67😭 I wasn’t even in this sub since it’s a bit much for me but I do not like the joke at all! Anyway. I commented ‘isn’t calling them neo nazi’s a bit much?’ And this happened .. didn’t defend them , no insults , nothing. I typed what I said verbatim. So weird!!

Banned from r/worldnews for criticizing Israel

I said Israel is not God's "chosen people" that gets to genocide Palestinians just because they think they're better than the rest of humanity and got a ban. In response to someone saying Israel can kill Palestinians and it is not immoral. Not really sure what they think they're accomplishing by that but find it funny. Criticize any other country and you're good to go, criticize them and well, they'll prove you should be criticizing them.
