For context my trainer has spent 8 months telling me that every protein bar I eat is "glorified candy." He is correct and I hate him for it.

Last week I walk into the gym and he's eating something that looks like a chocolate fudge. I call him a hypocrite. He hands me a piece without saying anything.

It was incredible. Dense, dark chocolate, slightly chewy, rich as hell.

He then shows me the macro breakdown: 31.9g protein, 7.74g fibre, 1.45g sugar.

I stared at him. He stared at me.

"This is different," he said.

It's from a Bangalore brand called Better & Sweet. They call the product Dark Matters which is the most dramatic name for a fudge and I respect it completely. Real whey concentrate, rolled oats, cocoa. No soy protein, no maltitol, no ingredient list that requires a chemistry degree.

They even have the lab report on their website if you're the type to check (I am the type to check).

Ordered a pack of 5. My trainer asked me to send him the link. Full circle.

Thought this trip would be average, ended up becoming one of our favourite memories

Started as a random plan with almost no expectations and somehow turned into one of those trips we still keep talking about 😭 Sleepless bus rides, random food stops, getting lost twice, taking way too many pictures and somehow bonding with strangers over the dumbest things.Made us realise most travel memories are never really about perfect itineraries, it’s always the random moments in between.
That’s honestly one of the reasons we started
r/gjexperiences too.
Wanted to build a small space where people could share travel stories, hidden spots, chaotic moments and random experiences like these
