Getting Longboards to Scorpion Bay

Hi all,

I’m planning to take a surf trip to Scorpion Bay end of May - beginning of June.

I know it’s a famous longboard spot, and was hoping to get my log down there.

I live in Los Angeles, so the drive is quite far.

I also have a newer bright blue Subaru, and don’t want to be robbed / hassled by police.

Is flying with longboard down there an option, or is driving my safest / cheapest bet?

I also had a friend suggest buying a longboard there and selling it when I leave.

Just wanted to weigh my options and see what’s best! Let me know your thoughts.

Thank you

Traveling with a dog from the US

In the past, I have been able to take my dog to Tijuana and back driving over the border. Usually, I drove back to California with no questions asked, but one time, I had to show vaccination records. Now I googled the requirements, and it's saying that I need to take my dog to a USDA certified veterinarian for a certificate before going. Has anyone else had to deal with this?

Best spot for me?

After hearing so many great things about Baja California, I’m thinking of booking a trip to La Ventana, mainly for the marine life, beach vibes, and the digital nomad community 🙂

The only thing is… I’m not the biggest fan of wind 😂 and I’ve read it can get pretty windy there.

So I have a couple of questions: • I’ve seen that the wind starts to die down in April, how noticeable is that? Is anyone there right now who can share what it’s like?

•	Are there any other places in Baja California you’d recommend with a similar mix of marine life, nice beaches, and a good remote work vibe?

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!

Esta zona, decretada de Conservación, está siendo destruida por los desarrolladores quienes desviaron y embovedaron indebidamente el arroyo;

Causando afectación ambiental

¡DETENENGAMOS UN MODELO

URBANO INSOSTENIBLE!

Atte.

Has anybody camped at Ruben or Kiki’s camp before? How was the bathroom situation?

Do you guys recommend anywhere specifically to stay?

Tell me about your ride are you going since it’s the last one!!!

ELECTRIC Car Camping Between San Quintin and Guerrero Negro With Electricity and Warm Showers

I want to camp, preferably walking distance to the beach but be able to charge my car over night. 120v is ok but prefer 240v. I have a charger to plug into a regular 3 prong 120 outlet or 4 prong 240v I would be happy to pay for charging.

A warm shower would top it off

Is it safe to travel to Valle De Guadalupe right now as a Solo female traveler?

As the title states, I’m wondering if it’s safe to traveler to Valle De Guadalupe. I’ll be picked up by the hotel’s transportation services from the San Diego airport directly to the hotel. I’m told it’ll be about a 2.5 hour drive. This all feels pretty safe especially being transported by the hotel’s transportation services. I plan to stay at the hotel the entire time except for maybe one of the days where I would like to try a restaurant that’s less than 5 miles away from the hotel. I would have to take a taxi for this. Is there anything I need to be considering or concerned about with my plans? I just want to be fully safe and smart. Thank you for any advice you can share.
