I’ve been a nurse for quite sometime already. Been practicing nursing for almost 3 years and i haven’t encountered UNLICENSED AND UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE! My tatay has been a member of this facility and always kami gapa check up da. We do dentals, quarterly check ups and all sorts of medical needs, we do it there. And there was this one time na nag ayo lang ko sa isa ka maam na ga pungko sa may window. And to my disguise and shocked, wala ya gin cater akon tatay kay dapat ma linya gid. The main reason nga nag approach kami was to ask an inquiry or a question na unaware kami. So from that incident it caused me the awareness to look up on this so called “professional” and to my suprise ang nag kwa dugo sa tatay ko was NOT A PROFESSIONAL MED TECH. HOW CAN THIS COMPANY TOLERATE THIS TYPE OF PRACTICE. Even sa mga records and info staff nila na daw indi kapang husay kag mag sabat sa inquiries sang patients daw indi pa kami ang may right mag mangkot knowing na akon tatay is ga contribute monthly da!! I HOPE THEY FIX THE SYSTEM!! Any thoughts on this? Okay lang na ang ga kwa dugo underboard?

Dyutay lang nga background kay whenever magpuli sa Bacolod, syempre foodtrip gid ang daw priority para sakon kay kahilidlaw man gd sang mga food sa Bacolod. Anyway, mga non-negotiables ko (magpuli or pasalubong abi from relatives) from Roli's Napoleones to Calea's imported chocolate cake to their Black Sambo and now to Bob's Black Sambo. Feeling ko daw ka basic man lang sang choice/s ko sa dessert ay? Pero kada puli and makakaon ko sang mga desserts na namention, cravings satisfied gd ya. Ara bala ka nostalgic man sang feeling. Although, I believe others may find the dessert a little bit sweet or to sweet (totally understand).

Ang sa Calea nga black sambo as far as I can remember, separated ang chocolate sauce nila, and may white chocolate shavings na sya sa middle. Waay man ko kadumdom when ko first na try ang black sambo ka Bob's pero para sa akon, amo na sya ang pinakastandard ko sa black sambo Lol. Pero dugay naman ko bi waay kakaon iya ka Calea's, so idk if nagbago na sabor or what.

To cut the story short, may ara resto, cafe, pastry shop or any kalan-an nga gaserve black sambo nga mas better kay Bob's? The difference I noticed for both is mas creamy ang milk pudding and mas chocolatey ang chocolate pudding iya ka Bob's? Basi bala kay upod na ang chocolate sauce? Pero the taste hits different daan, so if anyone nga may suggestion kung sino pa gaserve black sambo or if any other desserts siguro na pwede nyo pa irecommend ah. Hi everyone! Need your help and suggestions tani.

I’ve been an OFW for 8 years na. Ga puli man ko every 1-2 years sa Bacolod but gusto ko mangayo fresh na suggestions or perspectives.

Ma 60 na si Mama sa January kag gusto ko tani i-surprise sang dinner celebration. She knows na ma puli ko kay naka book na ko flight, pero wala gid siya kabalo na ga plan ko party para sa iya.

Only child lang ko kag wala na si Papa, so sila lang gid ni Lola, si Yaya, kag ang bulig namon sa house ang upod nila sa balay sa Bacolod. Plus, wala man ko cousins na ma palihog (Sad akon childhood kay wala gd ko playmates 🥲) hahaha so ako lang gid ni ga pull off sang surprise. Gusto ko gid tani mangin special gid ang birthday ni Mama subong. Amo na ngaa nag ask ko di.

Before pa ko nag-abroad, go-to spots na gid namon ang Bob’s, Cafe Uma, Italia, Quedan, Azucarera, Maria, and Mushu. Biskan subong mag puli ko, amo man gihapon na ang gina-kadtoan namon. This time, for her 60th, gusto ko gid tani something nice and cosy, pero nami gid gihapon ang quality sang food.

Small gathering lang ni sang family, her close friends, kag coworkers. Looking at hotels as well pero kabudlay mag plan sang program if hotel hahahha. If resto, preferably ang may private space/room tani para maka istoryahanay gid sang mayo kag indi magamo.

Criteria:

• Vibe: Sophisticated but cozy (Bacolod charm)
