Which BITSAT mock series actually feels closest to the real exam?

I’ve been giving a few mocks lately and the level honestly feels very inconsistent.

Some tests feel too easy and give false confidence, while others are unnecessarily tough and mess up timing completely.

I’m trying to focus more on speed + accuracy now, so I want something that actually reflects the real exam level.

What are you guys using right now and how accurate do you feel it is?

Anyone else getting completely random scores in BITSAT mocks? 😭

One mock I score 270+ and feel confident, next mock it drops to 220 and I start questioning everything 💀

I don’t even know if it’s my preparation or just the level of the tests being inconsistent.

How are you guys dealing with this?

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Just calculated how many marks separate me from CSE at BITS Pilani and I feel sick Okay so I did the math properly today for the first time and I genuinely wish I hadn't.

Just calculated how many marks separate me from CSE at BITS Pilani and I feel sick

Okay so I did the math properly today for the first time and I genuinely wish I hadn't.

Expected cutoff for CSE BITS Pilani this year is somewhere around 320–330. My last three mocks are averaging 285. That is a 40 mark gap with 34 days left.

I know 40 marks sounds like a lot. But then I actually broke down where those marks are going. Physics — I am close to my ceiling. Maths — same. Chemistry — not much room left.

But LR and English? I am scoring 18 out of 30 consistently. If I actually prepared those two sections seriously — even getting to 26 out of 30 — that is 8 extra marks right there. Suddenly the gap feels less impossible.

Has anyone actually closed a gap this big in the final weeks before BITSAT? What actually moved the needle for you?

Made a rough BITSAT 2026 score vs branch guide based on last 3 years cutoffs — hope this helps someone Spent an hour compiling this from previous year data because I could not find a clean version anywhere. Sharing here — correct me if anything is off.

Made a rough BITSAT 2026 score vs branch guide based on last 3 years cutoffs — hope this helps someone

Spent an hour compiling this from previous year data because I could not find a clean version anywhere. Sharing here — correct me if anything is off.

BITS Pilani (approximate 2026 targets):

CSE — aim for 325+

Mathematics and Computing — 310+

ECE — 305+

Mechanical — 280+

BITS Hyderabad (approximate 2026 targets):

CSE — aim for 295+

ECE — 275+

Mechanical — 255+

BITS Goa (approximate 2026 targets):

CSE — aim for 285+

ECE — 265+

One thing worth knowing — LR and English together are 30 marks. Most people I know are scoring 18–20 there consistently. Getting that to 26–28 is genuinely achievable in 3–4 weeks and could be the difference between Hyderabad CSE and Pilani Mechanical.

Where is everyone sitting right now? Curious how accurate these targets feel to people who have given mocks recently.

Gave BITSAT morning session on april 15. now preparing for session 2. someone help [Masterclass Space Mocks] [LR and English from youtube]

okay so session 1 didn't go the way i wanted. score was not great. not sharing the number lol.

now i have like one month left and i don't even know where to start properly.

what i'm doing rn:

giving mocks every 2 days. analysis is taking longer than the actual mock tbh. maths is my weak point, physics is inconsistent. chemistry is the only thing keeping me sane.

the worst part is one day i feel like okay i can do this. next day same chapter and my brain is just empty. idk if this is normal or if im just cooked.

also the speed is a problem. i know the concepts but 130 questions in 3 hours is just different. keep running out of time.

if anyone else gave session 1 and is prepping for session 2 rn please talk to me. feels very lonely doing this at home with no one around who gets it.

will update as days go. wish me luck guys 🙏

Anyone else blanking on BITSAT English and reasoning or is it just me? [Masterclass Space]

Anyone else blanking on BITSAT English and reasoning or is it just me? [Masterclass Space]

Is anyone else completely blanking on BITSAT English & LR or is it just me Okay genuine question because I feel like nobody talks about this section seriously.

I am decent at Physics and Maths. Not great but decent. But every time I sit for a mock and hit the English section I just freeze. Reading comprehension takes me forever. Vocabulary is a coin toss. I finish the section with like 17-20 out of 30 and feel terrible about it.

The worst part is I KNOW it should be the easy section. Everyone says English and LR are where you make up marks. But I genuinely don't know how to prepare for English in a way that actually sticks before Session 2.

Did anyone find a method that works? Not just "read more" because I have heard that and it does nothing 35 days before an exam. Any one already enrolled in masterclass space Eng/LR course. Please share your review.

Is anyone else terrified that BITS Hyderabad CSE cutoff is going to jump this year or am I overthinking I have been targeting BITS Hyderabad CSE. Last year cutoff was somewhere around 290–310.

Is anyone else terrified that BITS Hyderabad CSE cutoff is going to jump this year or am I overthinking

I have been targeting BITS Hyderabad CSE. Last year cutoff was somewhere around 290–310. I am sitting at 275 in mocks right now.

But I keep reading that registrations for BITSAT 2026 are expected to hit 3–4 lakh this year. More students means more competition means higher cutoffs. Right?

I know I should just focus on improving my score instead of obsessing over cutoffs. But it is hard not to when the gap feels this real.

Two things I am genuinely unsure about —

First — is the cutoff actually going to rise significantly this year or is that fear talking? Second — for someone at 275 trying to get to 300+ in 34 days, which section is realistically the fastest to improve?

Asking because I want real answers from people who have been through this — not just "work hard bro."

Are some BITSAT mock series intentionally harder than the actual exam?

I feel like some mock platforms just make papers tougher than needed, which doesn’t really help with BITSAT since it’s more about speed.

Tried Masterclass Space recently and it felt closer to what I’d expect in the real exam (not too easy, not too tough).

Curious what others think — which mock series are you using?

Consistently losing marks in BITSAT English — need help fixing this [Masterclass Space mocks]

Consistently losing marks in BITSAT English — need help fixing this [Masterclass Space mocks]

BITSAT session Apr16s1- 274, Attempted very less questions from LR and English

Mock analysis (last 5 tests, 3 mocks before s1, 2 mocks from last two days)

Physics and chemistry: stable

Maths: improving

English: fluctuating badly (8–11 range)

Main problems:

Time management in reasoning and maths calculations part

Weak vocab retention

I started using math calculations app to improve my calculation speed. If you improved this section significantly, what changes made the biggest difference?. Any free source to practice reasoning.

Just got done with BITSAT Session-1 and ended up with a score of 254.

Just got done with BITSAT Session-1 and ended up with a score of 254. Not perfect, but honestly better than what I was getting in mocks.

One thing that surprisingly helped me push my score was Logical Reasoning practice. I feel like it’s one section where you can gain marks pretty quickly if you practice the right type of questions.

I didn’t use anything fancy — just practiced from a free PDF source consistently, and it made a noticeable difference in speed and accuracy. I’ll drop it in the comments in case anyone needs it.

Also, I’ve been giving mocks on Masterclass Space recently.

Still planning to improve for Session-2, so if anyone has tips to push from 250s to 330+, would really appreciate it 🙏

Only 2 days left for BITSAT 2026 😭 | Last minute motivation + quick tips (let's help each other)

Hey everyone,

Day after Tomorrow is the day. BITSAT is literally 48 hours away and my heart is doing 1000 bpm already 😂

But honestly, if you're reading this — you've already come so far. All those late nights, mocks, concept revisions... it's not going to waste. One more solid day is all we need.

Quick last-day tips (what I'm doing):

  • Light revision only — no new topics.
  • Watching short vocab revision videos (roots, synonyms, common BITSAT repeats) in the morning.
  • Doing 1-2 quick LR sessions (pattern recognition, blood relations, syllogism) — these are scoring and take less energy.
  • Solving previous year questions of the topics I'm weak in.
  • Taking a full mock in the evening if I feel confident, otherwise just sectional practice.
  • Sleeping early tonight (at least 7-8 hours is non-negotiable).

Most important: Stay calm. Panic kills more marks than lack of preparation.

Drop in the comments:

  • What are you focusing on today?
  • Any last-minute resources/videos that helped you?
  • One tip that actually worked for you in the last few days.

Let's motivate each other and go into tomorrow with positive energy 🔥

All the best to everyone giving BITSAT tomorrow!
We got this 💪

Mains and BITSAT session-1 is over but I can’t focus on BITSAT Session-2 prep… anyone else? 😔

Hey everyone,

As JEE Mains and BITSAT S-1 are over, now I’m waiting for BITSAT Session-2 and TS EAMCET. I thought once Mains was done I would study with full power, but it’s the complete opposite.

I’m really struggling to stay focused. I sit to revise, but after 30-40 minutes my concentration is gone. Mind keeps wandering, I end up scrolling or just lying down. I know I still have important exams left, but the motivation is missing badly.

Is anyone else in the same boat right now?

How are you guys managing your focus and consistency during this waiting period?
Any practical tips that helped you (short study sessions, specific routine, study spots, etc.)?

Would really appreciate some advice and motivation. Don’t want to regret these days later.

Thanks bros ❤️
