WHAT DO YOU THINK HOW MUCH BE THE RANK CUTOFFS WILL DECREASE IN AI QUOTA

Getting ECE here (outside jharkhand student). I wanted to know how is the whole college experience at mesra. How are placements and do big tech companies like Microsoft and such visit? How is the campus life and city life there? Do students get time for extra curriculars?

I'm a student (cbse guy still) rn, just day dreaming. I have heard IITs to be hard to manage due to the fact students studying 12 hours continuously. I wanna ask, in BIT Mesra,

do you guys get time for hobbies, or get free time or not?

As a mechanical engineering interested guy, does BIT Mesra offer great stuff on Mechanical engineering?

Is campus life only studies or you guys do get free time?

Is teaching great and understandable?

And at last, do foreign placements happen in the college?

4th sem results tmrw and i think I'll be around 7.9 cg aggregate. Should I expect any placement in 3rd year or no? (Not talking just about applying, applying would be around 7.5 cg ig, i am talking about conversion) ( Sitting at home btw this summer trying to grind for internships in 5th and 6th sem, ngl tried a lot of research intern, industrial trainings, projects under profs but couldn't succeed )

Skill Turtle recently came to our college in Bangalore, and I was thinking of joining one of their programs. I checked their website and noticed most of the student testimonials/projects seemed to be from BIT Mesra, so I wanted to ask if anyone here has actually used their platform. How was your experience with the courses, mentorship, placements, internships, or certificates? Is it genuinely useful or more of a marketing thing? Would appreciate honest reviews before spending money on it.

Hi I am from ece branch 2nd semester it's highly likely I will get back in pps(programming for program solving).can I give the back paper which is held in summer or I can give the back paper also in 4th semester.

So I am in bit jaipur campus I got only 34 marks in physics overall and I am scared of getting failed
So if the relative marking happens will I pass??

I’m currently confused between:

- BIT Mesra CSE

- NIT JSR Mechanical

- NIT JSR Metallurgy

I also had some BIT-specific doubts:

1. How are placements for CSE currently?

2. What was the approximate placement percentage and average package for the 2026 batch?

3. I’ve heard from some people that placements are going through a regression phase recently... how true is that?

4. I also heard that some product-based companies have blacklisted the college. Is there any truth to this or is it just a rumor?

5. How is the coding culture and competitive environment among students?

6. Would you personally choose BIT Mesra CSE over NIT JSR Mechanical/Metallurgy?
