Hi all! I recently ordered the Canon G7X in silver. The backorder time was said to be 2-3 months. I’m just curious if anyone else has preordered recently and gotten it before the estimated time frame?
Just received a used TX-6 from B&H and honestly pretty disappointed with the condition.
The unit is visibly dirty, grime and dust caked around the knobs, between the faders, and along the chassis edges. This isn't "light use" dirty, this is "sat in someone's studio for years" dirty. I expected some wear with a used unit but B&H's used grading should be more transparent about actual cosmetic condition. It was advertised as 8/10, I cannot afford the full price and I am so disappointed.
The main menu is completely inaccessible. The Shift button and/or the encoder knob used for menu navigation don't work. I can't get into the main menu at all. Power cycling doesn't help. This isn't a display glitch, it's a broken control path that makes a core part of the unit unusable.
I ordered the sx740 may 4th anyone ordered recently and gotten their back order delivered quickly ? I fear the TikTok rhetoric that it ships super fast has gotten to me lmao. I have a trip the 20th and lowkey giving up hope it’ll come sooner than expected but I keep hearing people say they get it in days
saw it was in stock yesterday at BH, put in an order and when it opened again for checkout at precisely 9:15pm tried to complete the transaction, said it was sold out already and removed from my cart. How can that be? FYI have been ordering from BH since the 80's...still have my beloved Nikon F3 with the red leather case...love that store...
