NO APPLICATIONS FOR SOPHIE 💔
I don’t say this lightly… but this one really hurts.
Sophie has been with us for weeks, and no one has applied for her.
Not one.
And she is such a good girl.
She’s about 2 years old, gentle, loyal, and so incredibly sweet. She’s a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she melts into you. She’s the kind of dog who just wants a quiet home, a soft place to land, and someone to finally choose her.
She’s:
✨ Spayed & fully vaccinated
✨ House & crate trained
✨ Great with people & respectful kids
✨ Dog selective (would thrive as your one and only or with the right match)
She’s done everything right… She’s just being overlooked.
Please don’t scroll past her.
If you’ve been thinking about adopting, even a little… please consider Sophie. She doesn’t need perfect—just patient, kind, and hers forever.
**Apply at www.woofandwillowco.com
Or message me with any questions 🤍
If you can’t adopt, sharing her could change everything.
MISSING CAT - North Aurora 80011
MISSING CAT (Male / 6 Years Old / "Moon")
Last Seen: Northern Aurora 80011 near Sable Rd/ E 32nd Ave
----
Hello! Moon is my 6yo cat who went missing sometime around 9pm last night (4/21/2026) according to the camera on our auto-feeder. He is all black except for a small patch of white on his chest (visible in 3rd picture)
He had pushed against the screen in one of our porch windows and ended up falling outside. We realized he was gone (around 10:30 pm) and proceeded to check the surrounding neighborhood shaking treats and calling his name for 2.5hrs but no luck (only attracted a bunch of random neighborhood cats)
He is extremely shy/nervous around people he doesn't know and can hiss and get defensive if approached by somebody he doesn't know when he is stressed.
We setup a camera to overlook the window he had gotten out of. Historically, he would come back in the same door he went out if he ever snuck out the back door or the windows. However, it has been 12 hours now and he has not shown up on the camera or returned home. I did another search this morning, but still no sign.
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated!
Denver Arapahoe Landfill Fee?
Has anyone here used the Denver Arapahoe Disposal Site (DADS) Landfill? If so, how much did it cost and/or do you have any info on what the fees are? Looking to dispose of a pickup truck's worth of yard and construction debris but there's no information about the fees online (at least that I could find) and not trying to drive all the way there to be told to pay $300.
Free Lion King JR theater program for students in Denver/Aurora
I know this isn't the most conventional place to put this stuff but bear with me haha.
I’m a junior at Kent Denver and was recently featured on 9NEWS for youth projects. An organization called ArtsForward Collective is putting together a completely free summer Lion King Jr musical for elementary, middle, or high schoolers in Denver/Aurora. Everything including food will be provided and the show will take place in Denver South's 1600 seat theater.
I am helping and wanted to do this because a lot of summer programs are expensive, and not every kid has something to go to. This is meant to be a place where anyone can show up, try something new, and be part of something.
Acting, singing, performance. No experience needed.
It’s 100% free. We’re working with Downtown Aurora Visual Arts to help make it accessible.
If you know a kid or family who might want this, please send them this poster.

9news.comI.C.E. response basics virtual training
https://wkus-co.org/linkstack/
The purpose of this training is to teach what our basic legal rights are during interactions with law enforcement, how to ID ICE, and how to respond when you see an ICE raid happening. Our goals are to support our community members who are being targeted, document, and reduce detentions. These steps are based off historical successes, tactics currently being used in targeted cities, and actions our local immigration organizations are taking. Every community is different so these steps and procedures can vary according to where you are and how much support you have on scene.
You can RSVP on our encrypted form here so we can send you the link to the training and a follow up email with materials from the training. This also helps give us an idea of the number of attendees even if you choose not to share personal information! We understand that people are hesitant to share their personal information so we do not require registration to attend. You can just click the zoom link provided in the details section at 6:30pm on April 23rd. You are not required to be logged into an email address to attend the training.
This training is virtual only and presented by We Keep Us Safe: El Pueblo Unido Contra ICE. We Keep Us Safe is a grassroots initiative to help the metro Denver area organize proactively and effectively to protect our community members from being inhumanely kidnapped by ICE. We are developing a hub of resources and best practices targeted towards the Denver area, but many of the resources are statewide. This can be found on our website wkus-co.org! We are educating and activating community members through canvassing, training, and outreach. Our goal is to support interested volunteers across the Denver area in building community and solidarity–and to support volunteers in effectively self-organizing in the face of state violence.

The Hayes on N Clinton - safe? clean?
Hi, I'm moving to Aurora in August for a PhD program (yay)! I was originally looking at the Forum at Fitzsimons but saw some horrible reviews on here that turned me off. I am a female in my mid 20s and want to live close enough to campus to bike, but also really want to feel safe. I'm looking at studios and would prefer to keep rent around or under $1400 per month. The Hayes on N Clinton looks like it would be good - does anyone have experience living there? I'm from SC and won't be able to tour in person before I move, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Help the Game Show Geeks make it to Global Finals for Destination Imagination in Kansas City! Pre-orders for half a dozen cinnamon rolls are available now to help us raise funds to get to Globals :) Pick up date of Saturday May 9th at either Mission Viejo Elementary or Darlene's Ice Cream Shop
Destination Imagination (DI) is a global educational non-profit organization that hosts project-based, STEAM-focused competitions for students from kindergarten through university. Teams of 2-7 members solve open-ended, creative challenges over several months, focusing on teamwork, 21st-century skills, and innovation.
This year, our fine team from Mission Viejo Elementary was tasked with creating a game show, including a technical device, drama and razzle dazzle and featuring team interests. Game Show Geeks did so well they placed 3rd at the Colorado Regional Finals in February and 2nd at the State Finals in April. This means they have qualified for the GLOBAL Finals featuring finalists from each state and from countries around the world. DI Globals is a four day event taking place this year at the end of May in Kansas City. This would be our first year attending and honestly, this propect caught us by surprise.

Looking to fix/expand my patio without breaking the bank
Trying to figure out what the nicest option for the price is here. I want to expand and my concrete slab slants towards house so needs fix. Not sure if i should go Trex or something. this is basically what i want. I assume stamped concrete is cheapest bang for buck. Also looking for recommendations on companies.
