Starchaser meets Koreena
Based on an idea a friend gave me, I drew a cute crossover between a canon Atomic Betty character and my wacky OC version. The dialouge is up to the view

drop your headcanons about how you think any of this works
Atomic Betty OOAK that I FINALLY finished after years of little advancements. Luckily this didnt have to involved any alternatives to MSC or Apoxy Sculpt since I didnt find any yet in my region that are remotely on par (which is why the few OOAKs I do take ages to make).
Anyways very proud of her hope you enjoy 🥰🫶🏼🩷
"Get up. Put some pants on and don't give me the 'I don't have legs' excuse!"
Zulia is the mother of Sparky from the actual show. I like her from season one and two because she's badass yet is caring towards everyone. I tweeked some blue dye in her hair to make it look authentic.
Happy Mother's day to all mothers out there, whenever human or alien.
Even though i quite like Atomic Betty these days, i had never even heard of it until BBC Kids shut down in 2018, when i saw a promo for the show in the shutdown video. And that is mainly because the show's broadcasts here in the Netherlands, where i live, had ended long before.
I eventually found out that a Dutch-language dub of Atomic Betty, using the same title as the original English version of the show, had premiered nearly two years after its Canadian and US releases, on August 21, 2006 at 7:35 AM, 12:05 PM and 5:15 PM on Jetix Netherlands. The dub featured voice talent including Nicoline van Doorn as Betty and Marcel Jonker as Maximus IQ. However, the channel only aired the series until November 29, 2007, after which it was removed from the channel's schedule (strangely though, the DVD of The No-L Nine was released in 2008, after the show stopped airing). The dub has not been re-aired on any channel ever since and has become largely lost media, with only five episodes plus The No-L Nine available here: https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsKeM1rGzhr0q4F5REXvdebpPRWG9S4Y . I honestly prefer the Dutch version over English and think it is simply a shame that the former is lost. I was never able to see it during it's original airing since i was born only one month before Jetix stopped airing the show.
I recently noticed that several former Jetix Netherlands shows (including Jacob Two-Two and "Ernst, Bobbie en de Rest" - if you don't know what that is, it is a Dutch live-action show about two men, with a dynamic similar to Bert and Ernie's, causing trouble around their home) had been recently saved by a streaming service named "Videoland", owned by RTL Nederland.
I really want to see Atomic Betty added to this service and sent a request a few days ago, but my voice alone will not be enough to convince Videoland to add the show. All our voices in this fandom will need to be heard. To send a request to Videoland to add Atomic Betty, all you will need to do is follow four simple steps:
You don't even need to say your name, let alone any personal information, and you can also send the request as many times as you like.
As a bonus, this might also help get the dub back on television for the first time in 18 years since it stopped airing on Jetix, since a lot of of kids's programs that are available on Videoland are also shown in reruns on "Telekids", a linear kids' channel also owned by RTL Nederland.
I hope that our combined efforts will end up paying off and we will be seeing the lost Dutch dub of our favorite Galactic Guardian preserved on Videoland (and possibly on Telekids) soon!
