For such a big city, it is still shocking to me that a cute wine bar that's not giving 2016 bachelorette party or has any funkier wines hasn't popped up. Does anyone have recommendations on places in Dallas proper where you've found orange or natural wine or a better wine bar vibe than like Leela's?

Hello, I find it extremely difficult to keep friends in Dallas and I am making a final attempt before I become a recluse or make a giant billboard.
I have a very outgoing personality and can easily make friends. I have friends in other state but most of my friends in Dallas are men. I am 27 F black and gainfully employed. I am average in appearance, married and have no kids. I enjoy traveling, walking and reading. I don’t have social media except for Facebook to keep up with my friends who don’t reside in Texas. Over the last year, I have made over 70 connections but they tend to fizzle over time. I have 2 remaining friends.
Regardless, I am looking for like minded people to become friends with. I don’t like drama, please don’t be a druggie, thief or slothful. I just want 5-10 people I can hang out with, form a small village with and do fun stuff with like getting dinners. Gender doesn’t matter but preferably female or male only if you are married or gay. Age range: 27-40.

Hey everyone. I’m honestly posting this with a heavy heart because I’ve been trying so hard to keep things together, and this situation hit me out of nowhere.
I’ve been leasing a car through U Cars, and today I was told the company is shutting down. I have to return the vehicle tomorrow, and that means I’ll be completely without transportation overnight.
I drive for Uber, and I also work another job about 25 miles away. My car isn’t just a convenience — it’s literally how I survive, how I pay my bills, how I’m trying to rebuild after a really rough year. I’ve been fighting to get back on my feet, and this feels like one more thing trying to knock me down.
I’m looking for anyone in the Dallas/DFW area who has a second vehicle they’d be willing to lease to me weekly for the next 2–3 weeks while I secure something permanent. I’m responsible, I pay upfront, and I’ll treat the vehicle with respect. I’m not asking for a handout — just a chance to keep working and not lose everything I’ve been trying to rebuild.

Hi! I have 4, 4 and a half foot long faux floral arrangements on pool noodles that I will need to transport for a wedding. I have called around several florists in the area to see if I can pick up any old flower boxes, but no one has anything like this available. Does anyone know of somewhere that throws away long boxes like this? Thank you!

I moved in DFW area this spring and it is my first time facing severe weather like tornado and large hails. Last weekend thunderstorm/tornado/hail the three combo was shocking enough to realize I need to do something to protect my car from the "baseball sized(!!)" hail. After last weekend, suddenly I can realize many cars have small-large dents on its hood and roof...
I live in an apartment which provide a paid roofed spot for parking. But this does not provide any protection elsewhere, besides it is costly.
I found car protection covers that are available from Amazon for under $50 to a couple hundreds of dollars. Have you used this? Is it recommendable?
What do you Texans do to protect the car when attached garage is not available? I am desperate to find some answers before another hail will hit.
