Hollywood Regency Red Crystal Ashtray
I found this beauty by accident in a vintage clothing store that my wife dragged me into. It was missing four hanging crystals but I found some on eBay. A great addition to my collection!

He was an engineer...and i wouldnt be suprised if he made it himself.
5 dollars it's perfect!!
German made, probably fairly common?!
I’ve had this a few years, a ceramic Paraboot sole with markings of Emile Tessier - a renowned ceramicist in the 1940-60’s from Malicorne, France
Started with a raw wood block and built this into a 5.5” square wood & epoxy ashtray. The red resin core was poured and finished to keep a clean contrast with the natural grain.
Solid wood base, multiple sanding stages, and a polished epoxy finish for durability and daily use. The idea was to keep it functional while still looking like a statement piece.
The one that started it all. Because of this piece I now collect ashtrays.
1.3lbs of cast aluminum, the top flips up to let the ash fall into the container below! Picked up for myself 😋
Does anyone collect vintage smoking/tobacco sets? I found this one in an antique mall in a small town. I would love to collect more but I never see them when I am shopping. This set is likely from the 60's or 70's. And no, I do not smoke 😊
I've had this one for a while, but it's been hiding from me. Found it just in time for spring
