I'm currently cycling in my first tank and have been observing a few different aquarium-related subreddits over the last few weeks. These are some of the people I have noticed.

I found aphids on a drosera about 2 weeks ago, but didn't notice that they got into my pingrock until yesterday when I cleaned the container. No noticable damage on my pings yet, except for the slightly odd new growth on the P. cyclosecta. I'm giving the rock a bath, hopefully this will be enough to eliminate them.

Tested ph, high ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, KH, GH from tank. Then tested all the same stuff (except nitrate) from the source water to be safe.
This “test tube holder” sure comes in handy 😂
