Horrible experience of Amravati girls on dating apps
The first thing I wanted to know is: are dating apps dead in Amravati? I can’t find many girls on Hinge from Amravati. I’m new to dating apps and want to make new friends, not a serious relationship.
Here’s how my one month went:
Week 1: I matched with an average-looking girl from Old Bypass, Amravati. She’s a content creator who makes makeup tutorials on YouTube. I liked her post and she accepted the match quickly. We talked for a bit. The next day, she randomly asked, “Marathi nahi aati kya?” I’m from a Hindi-speaking background. I understand Marathi a bit and don’t believe in language wars. But she mocked me and forced me to talk in Marathi. I calmly shared my point of view. it turned into a heated argument. I told her this is a dating app, not a language-teaching app, and unmatched her.
Week 2: I matched with a girl who isn’t from Amravati but is living here for studies. Our vibes matched as I’m also from Amravati and is shifting back after completing my studies. She had a funny personality and was independent too. We exchanged our numbers in a day and planned a call for the next day. The call went well, and I flirted a bit, which she responded to well. We also made plans for some meetups as we both don't have many friends here. Everything was going well but after a week, she started ignoring my texts, so I ghosted her too. Now I’m thinking of texting her for a meetup this week. Should I suggest me in comments?
Week 3: I matched with an engineering student from a reputed college in Amravati, living in a PG. Our vibe matched. She teased me and made me laugh. I didn’t expect to find such a chill, chulbuli girl in Amravati. On day one, we made it very clear we didn’t want anything serious or casual but just chilling. We exchanged numbers within an hour and moved to WhatsApp. We talked for 4-5 days. She kept teasing me. One morning I asked, “Kya kar rahi ho?” She replied, “Khana bana rahi hu.” I teased her back for the first time, and when she said, “Khana banana seekh le aur mujhe bana ke khilana,” I joked, “Ladke log kaam nahi karte,” with a funny cat emoji. She took it badly. She called me misogynistic, said I have “desi soch,” and that “teri hone wali patni bahut pareshan hogi tujhse.” All the long paragraphs and lot of judgements just for a joke. I said, “Okay, fine,” and stopped the conversation.
The funniest part:
Both girls still have my number saved. The one who called me misogynistic keeps posting sad status and deleting them as soon as I see them.
Final question: Are all girls on dating apps in Amravati chapri?
Edit 1: tell me if you have any such horrible experience in comments
Edit 2 : the post doesn't involve any language war it's purely about what was my experience of dating apps, so no need to indulge language war in this.
