What can you tell me about the Alouettes?

Cheers folks. Euro interested in CFL and was interested in following the Alouettes since I follow Montreal in hockey.

What's the story on the team? Any slogans or things to pick up? How hopeful do you feel for this season?

Personally, I see this as a pure cash grab. More playoff games means more money. But this makes a mockery of the regular season. Only one team misses the playoffs? A team can lose in the playoffs and still advanced to another round.

I don’t like seeing folks call the CFL Bush league, but this is very bush league.

Bonjour/Hello Alouette fans!

Our family is taking a trip to Montreal this summer and we're eager to attend an Alouettes game at Percival Molson.

However, my mobility isn't great -- I use a walker to get around and can only manage a few stairs (as long as there's a railing) and don't walk far distances.

I know there's low-mobility seating available, but I'd prefer that we're all able to sit together, so I've been considering front-row seats somewhere like section C1, J1, etc.

My questions are:

  1. Could anyone tell me if there's an entrance to the field level close to either (or both) ends of the stadium so I don't have to walk too far?

  2. Is there an entrance to the field level that doesn't have any stairs? I'll be able get up the few steps from the track to the first row, but don't want a bunch of steps that I don't know about to get to the field level first.

  3. Bonus question: will a 13 year old be able to see over the front-row railing? Or is it an awkward height?

Thank you so much. Good luck this season!

In our last off-season episode of The CFL Outsiders before we go weekly for the 2026 season, we talk about the playoff format changes, the draft, and lots of other CFL off-season tidbits.
