It's been about a month since this happened and I have thought about it every single day. It affected me tremendously initially, but as time moves on, I've grown less afraid and more curious but still quite confused.

It started as a night where I was having immense trouble sleeping. I sometimes have bouts of insomnia but nothing too crazy, just a minor annoyance more than anything. Usually during an episode, I'll lie there with my eyes shuts trying to force myself to sleep. It happened during one of those moments, but suddenly, it was like I had opened my eyes right back up and the room was different. Sometimes, I'll have my TV in my room for gaming reasons, but it wasn't that kind of night so I didn't have it in there.

When I opened my eyes, the TV was right in front of me like it would be on one of those gaming nights, but it was completely turned off and there was an grey alien just staring right at me. When I noticed it, it seemed like it started shifting the physics and reality around it, almost like it was warping my brain in a sense. In this visual, I was very aware and conscious for the experience, and even attempted to greet it.

I suddenly raised my hand with no effort and shouted a very hearty "hey"! I mean, how would you react... but as soon as I did that, the experience immediately ended and I was back in my normal room. Overall, very confusing and I'm still trying to make sense of it, or at least trying to come to the terms that I can't :/ but yea. What in tarnation was all of that, not a fan.

Bear in mind I don't read about aliens, conspiracies or much care about them beyond the fact that given the size of the universe, it's hard to believe we are the only ones, but that's about as deep as I get with it. To have this kind of thing happen just seems very out of nowhere, even in reference to my brain.

I consider myself pretty skeptical about the UFO phenomenon, but I was sleeping, and for some reason I started having dreams about massive tsunamis while I was in the middle of the ocean. I used to live in the rez, (reserve) ON, Canada and 2016-2025 and I would sit outside at night a lot. I saw a lot of weird stars/stuff. I want to share what I would see. There was a time I saw 3 lights going in a straight line/path, then out of nowhere they went into a triangle, stood still for about 10 seconds then the closest one to the top took off to the left and disappeared within an instant then I was like “okay that’s weird” then the next one went to the top then took off in the second and I was like “okay I might be hallucinating” then the 3rd one took off the the left. Disclosure: I have never did any kind of substances and I used to love staring at the night sky (we got northern lights almost every other night and it was peaceful just staring at the night sky with a cup of tea) I had started doing this again before I moved and I have noticed many stars?? Would be going towards each other then stop then go completely different directions then disappear. Also many lone ones would going straight then turning left or right or completely doing a 180 and disappear. This has happened on many occasions. I still love looking at the stars and seeing the constellations but after a while I started to wonder has anyone seen the same things doing weird stuff. I moved recently from my reserve and don’t see anything now. (2026) But after a while I was curious and after speaking with elders and many parents, they told me that one day they saw a circle spaceship looking thing appear in the reserve and that many started crying and freaking out, they never did anything to them tho, it just stood about 60-100ft in the air making no noise what so ever. Many children and adults started to cry (this was the 70-90’s) the elders said to just pray. it was just sitting there then took off into the sky (straight up is what I was told). It was a circle shape with many different lights. I have spoke with another person from a different reserve and he said “one day I was on my skidoo and traveling at night with his gf (he was hunting and setting up traps) then he saw a dim light on an island, he thought it was a flash light so he decided to go closer incase it was another person who’s skidoo was stuck or broke but once he got closer it had turned into a circle of lights that started to rise up, he said he freaked out and drove off, he was with his gf and he said he was certain that they were going to be “abducted”. he didn’t turn around at all and kept gunning the gas. Nothing happened to him but he said that traumatized him and he has been scared to go for any night drive at all.
