This high-octane pour defies its proof with a velvety, non-astringent mouthfeel that drinks much softer than the label suggests. This one seems polarizing on taste / value but I haven’t seen it as MSRP for a while. At least 6 bottles at Twin Liquors off Mopac and Parmer next to the HEB.

I almost died taking this shot. But it was worth it because it's one of my favorite post-yard work. This is one from the series of self-portraits and it features this tasty bottle from Standard Proof. It's a Texas Pecan infused Rye. I enjoyed it.
