Chris Rabb wins the Pennsylvania Third Congressional District Dem primary

Endorsements of the candidates:

Chris Rabb For Congress (Endorsements) (AOC and the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC, DSA, 'The Squad', leftists and progressive groups)

Sharif Street for Congress: Official Campaign Website ('The Establishment) Huge disappointment in that Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is endorsing him.

Endorsements - Stanford for Congress

Pennsylvania Representative Chris Rabb's winning this is a HUGE deal. It continues AOC's being a kingmaker. It shows AOC is actually more popular in Pennsylvania than Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is. 'Rep Rabb' even getting close in this primary race would have boosted AOC and her POTUS 2028 chances.

Is DeGette actually endorsed by AOC??

I just got a campaign text showing a new TV ad with AOC as the thumbnail but has AOC said anything about this race?? I know we have a DSA endorsed candidate challenging DeGette this year so I would've thought AOC was more aligned with Kiros, but I keep seeing DeGette ads showing AOC's speech from the Fight Oligarchy rallies last year.

Does anyone know if AOC has actually endorsed either or is DeGette using outdated footage to give the impression she has AOC's support in the primary? Seems weird to blast her all over the ads if not.

AOC: “It is time for the North to pull up to the South and let them know exactly what they have uncorked with this injustice. They think they can draw us out of power. They do not know the sleeping giant they just awakened. What they thought was the final blow is actually just the opening silo”

AOC calls out systemic corruption and stock trading in Congress: "Everyone in this place takes corporate money—Republicans and Democrats. I’m glad I don’t."

AOC to Julian Andreone of Drop Site News on slush fund: It’s corruption. The judge basically said they wanted to dismiss the case, so they created this contrived settlement in order to enrich themselves.

Andreone: Do you think Democrats would have a little bit more of a leg to stand on regarding corruption if they didn’t take corporate PAC money and trade stocks?

AOC: Everyone in this place takes corporate money—Republicans and Democrats. I’m glad I don’t. Corporate money in this place just corrupts the whole system. We’ve got to take it out.

AOC criticizes plans for “ballrooms and reflecting pools” while Americans struggle with rent, groceries, and healthcare

MacFarlane: There’s a lot of money being spent on reflecting pools, ballrooms, and a memorial arch. What do you make of that?

AOC: I think people can’t feed themselves. They’re having a hard time affording groceries. They’re having an even harder time, in a lot of ways, affording rent and mortgages. And why should this administration—and this president, who has openly said that he doesn’t care or think about the financial situations of everyday Americans at all—then try to take a billion dollars more out of our health care and put that toward a ballroom when people are already struggling?

It’s just deeply out of touch. I think it’s insulting to everyday people who are trying to get by on an honest day’s work.

NYC Mayor Mamdani announces that they have fully balanced NYC's budget, reducing a $12 billion budget deficit to 0. While funding parks, libraries, safer streets and making historic investments in public hosing.

Do you guys think the meteoric success of mamdani will translate into wider change amoung Dems and voters?

I genuinely think that this could basically be the start of an FDR era 2. Basically showing the masses why this shit worked and why it lead to the only 4 term president. I also truely believe that if America drops the neo liberal shit the rest of the anglosphere won't feel like they have to do it either.

Genuinely think that this will be seen as a huge ear mark change in society, when future generations look back at this time.

AOC responds after Ted Cruz mocked her past as a bartender: “He’s been taking a government paycheck for 23 years.”

PabloReports: Ted Cruz called you a parasite and disparaged your work as a bartender.

AOC: It’s not a secret the disdain Ted Cruz has for people who work working-class jobs. It’s not a secret what he thinks of the waitresses, the line cooks—he thinks we’re less than him. He thinks that because he has a Harvard degree and has never scrubbed a table that it makes him better than someone who has actually had to work for a living.

I think it’s funny that he’s been taking a government paycheck for 23 years but has the audacity to criticize someone who has come from a family that had to work their way up and earn their place here.

May 8, 2026: Jessica Tarlov on "The Five": AOC made a salient political argument, "The idea that you've done it on your own is just not founded in reality"

Even 'moderate' and centrist Democratic commentators have been supporting AOC and either seem to want her to run for POTUS in 2028 or would at least support her if she did run.

Jessica Tarlov connects AOC's statements and analysis with what POTUS Barack Obama said regarding 'you didn't build that'.
