Punishing C. Viper's SA1 as A.K.I.

>NOTE: You only have to Micro-Walk if you do the first combo I did in the video.
If you knockdown Viper with any other combo that ends in Heavy Serpent Lash, you can just press Heavy Kick without having to walk closer to Viper.

  1. Knockdown Viper with a combo that ends in Heavy Serpent Lash
  2. Immediately drop a pool of poison
  3. Micro-Walk (only if your knockdown combo was the same as mine in this video)

Then do the following combo:

>Heavy Kick, Venomous Fang, Heavy Kick, OD Serpent Lash, Drive Rush, Heavy Kick, OD Cruel Fate, Drive Rush, Medium Punch / ⬇️ Medium Punch, OD Serpent Lash, Toxic Wreath, Light Serpent Lash, Light Serpent Lash, SA3

^ 7100+ Damage (SA3)
^ 7400+ Damage (Critical Art)

>NOTE: You can end with "Medium Serpent Lash > Light Serpent Lash > SA3" instead.
It does less damage, but is easier than "Light Serpent Lash > Light Serpent Lash > SA3"

I think this is the max damage stun combo, I dunno.

  1. Drop a pool of poison
  2. Forward Jump (if you don't do this, she won't have enough Drive Gauge for the combo)

Then do the following combo:

>Venomous Fang, Heavy Kick, OD Serpent Lash, Drive Rush, Heavy Kick, OD Cruel Fate, Drive Rush, Medium Punch / ⬇️ Medium Punch, OD Serpent Lash, Toxic Wreath, Light Serpent Lash, Light Serpent Lash, SA3

^ 6400+ Damage (SA3)
^ 6600+ Damage (Critical Art)

>NOTE: You can end with "Medium Serpent Lash > Light Serpent Lash > SA3" instead.
It does less damage, but is easier than "Light Serpent Lash > Light Serpent Lash > SA3"

A change to OD Cruel Fate I would like her our girl.

I'd like to be able to choose whether or not the follow comes out by holding down a kick button as the move lands. If you hold kick, you get the normal version we have now. If you don't hold kick, then the move will function similar to how HK Cruel Fate works. It will leave you plus 4, and the opponent will be poisoned.

Edit: Title should read, "A change to OD Cruel Fate I would like our girl to have." 😆

Finally reached Master! Partly thanks to you guys.

After a surprising win streak I reached MASTER. I started SF6 in June last year, and it was my first time I took playing SF more seriously. I am pretty sure Zangief was going easy on me in the last match, so also kudos to him XD.

So now starts the MR grind. I am curious how brutal the MR drop will be, especially considering the recent reset.

A.K.I. max damage combo for punishing ALL reversals

>NOTE: This combo requires you to be near the corner

  1. Poison the enemy
  2. Block a Reversal

Then do:

>Heavy Kick, Venomous Fang, Heavy Kick, Drive Rush, Heavy Kick, Medium Serpent Lash, Drive Rush, Medium Punch, Drive Rush, Heavy Kick, Venomous Fang, Light Serpent Lash, SA3

^ 6662-3 damage (SA3)

This character is degenerate slop. What can AKI safely do against Alex player‘s that like to ”steal” turns?

“Steal” probably isn’t even the right word because it implies it’s actually your turn, when in reality AKI doesn’t have the kit to contest his most degenerate tools.

What can I do with AKI - or with any character for that matter - when the safety/threat of light elbow, lariat, and his charged heavies means it’s too risky to call out his “fake” pressure when Alex players start getting greedy? Every defensive “option“ for a character without a true reversal or cancellable low forward is a wild, disproportionate gamble on a ”mind game” that doesn’t have to actually be earned by the Alex player at round start.
