does a diploma really matter?

Hello, so for context, I'm a graduating student this year, but I have an unpaid balance from my scholarship (79,000 pesos). They told me that I will still be able to march and attend the graduation but the registrar will hold my diploma muna. They also told me na TOR ang mas important for fresh grads.

It's just sad lang na last week lang ako na inform about it. I'm a finaid scholar and my family can't pay that huge amount in just a month huhu. Sobrang bigat lang din ng financial situation namin right now. At this point, nawawalan na ako ng hope huhu. Help. Should i loan and just pay after once may job na ako :(( or is there like a foundation na pwede kong malapitan. I'm also actively looking for a part time job before graduation, pero i doubt na makakaipon ako ng ganong amount immediately. Hindi ko na alam gagawin ko at this point

Hello, I just submitted my grad school application requirements a week ago but I haven’t received any acknowledgment email from admu. According to the website, the intake schedule will end on May 5 and it’s May 2 already 🥲 Should I send a follow-up email?

i'm a 5th year graduating without any friends in my current batch and as much as ive accepted that fact, im worried grad practice and the day itself may be a little awkward for me. does anyone have experience in going through the motions of grad practice and grad day without any friends? i feel like there'll be lots of down time where people will meet up/take pics with their friends and i'll just be... there. my family and partner will meet up with me after the rites but idk what to do with all that time spent before then lol

Hi, just curious, how long will I wait before I recieve an email from the time I sent my application? I am a bit stagnant here, and the last day of application is May 5. So scared I might not finish the application on time. Thank you!

Could anyone share their tips, suggestions, or what to expect studying master's at Ateneo? (context: I’m a local uni grad here in Metro Manila, and honestly, the big schools are pretty intimidating. Your reply would be a huge help).

Please post your concerns there. For alumni or students, we would appreciate it if you answer concerns there.

The main idea of a megathread is to have a space for questions and to make sure the subreddit isn't flooded with similar posts.

Let's all help together as we welcome the incoming freshmen of 2026. :)

Hi! I'd just like to ask if you're allowed to apply to shift for multiple different courses? Currently, I've applied to shift to BS Biology, and my IPS doesn't have the major for my current course this semester. But I don't think I'm going to meet the required grade in Math 10 that BS Biology needs. So I'm thinking of also applying to shift to BS Envi Sci. So I'd just like to know if that's allowed?

Planning to visit campus soon to check Arete’s museum and drop by the bookstore. Do the guards allow walk ins or is there a need to fill up some form days prior?

Hi! Planning to enroll at ADDU (AB-IDS Language & Literature). I saw the down payment is around ₱10,640, but others say it can reach ₱20k–₱22k with fees.

Which one is accurate for freshmen? Thanks!

Currently a second-year student, interested in taking a minor in German since I had it for my FLC and actually had a good time. Was wondering, how much would it cost and, would it be too work-heavy now that I'm going into my third year? Thanks!
