SN30 pro battery upgrade possibly bricked it
I have an SN30 pro which i bought during the pandemic (this is the version that doesnt have hall effect) and the battery (upon opening is a 451860 480mah directly soldered into the board) recently seems to not hold a charge for long anymore. I decided to buy a similar model of battery, and upon the evening of replacing the battery, it worked until the next morning which the controller failed to show any signs of life, even plugging it in. The battery showed 0v under the multimeter but even after removing the battery and plugging it in, no lights showed and no interaction with the desktop. Could anyone have some insight with this? I seem to have misplaced or thrown away the old battery but here is a picture of the new one i bought. ( Unrelated, i broke my multimeter right after by doing something stupid, which means I may not be able to show any voltage readings. )
