Honestly, it almost makes me feel a little bad that I don't really have the skills for any big customizations to really do it justice.
I tried doing some substantial painting on a 30MM weapon, and that wound up as a trainwreck.
It's been a while since I've posted in this sub but my Belveria preorder I placed waaaay back in October finally came in and I think she's my favorite kit so far. She's really tall and her weapon gimmick makes her a lot of fun to pose, also her colors are so appealing.
I've always hand brushed my painted kits. Saw someone else post a kit they used paint markers and it looked nice. Figured I'd give it a try, definitely a different feel. Everything from the neck down and not black is painted. Have a few spots to clean up and still have all the weapons and wings to do (Far-Farina (Conductor Form)). Overall I do like the markers, can't get the fine details in there with them though. Also made her stand platform match her colors with them and this is something I really want to do with all my 30ms kits now.
Got the big arms where I want them, added wings because why not. Also added a stand so that the legs were what I wanted.
New girl = new opportunity to customize, in this case I just rearranged her armor pieces a bit and replaced her weapons.
Looking for recommendations for realistic guns that will fit the hand of 30ms. Or even something affordable that can be made to fit somehow. I've ordered some 3d printed 1/12 scale guns online and the first batch doesn't fit in the hands. I'm going to see how the other prints I've ordered from different online shops fit and will make a post about any that do, but in the meantime I figure I'd ask to see if anyone has had any luck.
I've seen people mention Yamada and Ztoys as a more affordable option to Little Armory but would like to hear more opinions/experiences.
I kind of like the alternative belly plate and breast badge.
Hi again, so I did a sketch of what I have and what I am considering buying. My local store has great deals to the end of the month so there won't be better occasions since it's so expensive usually. I absolutely have to do a custom Luluce and sb from Idolmaster in a combat suit (Richetta set for 22$ would be a perfect deal I think cuz it's also color A). Do you have any recomendations? 30MM wings look interesting cuz I wouldn't have to buy Tiasha or Micolulu just for their accesories. However I have no idea if those 9$ wings will work on Rishetta's or Luluce body for my customs. I don't want to spend too mcuh since I ordered Luluce and still wait for her hehe, she is my fav<33

I dug up my old figure - Special Week.
I started building her few years ago when I wasn’t aware nippers and other tools exist… She has few white spots on her shoes. She also had some on her body but I was able to remove them with a surgical steel blade. However when it comes to her shoes it didn’t help much and white spots are there. Is it possible to rescue her from this fate? ;^; I wonder if hobby knife would be better and if I need one since they are hard to buy here, at least the ones that people on yt use…
it's 2nd Heroine of Eva series, Asuka Shikinami Langley.
overall inject gloss infused red plug suit shines in light and she's cute and all, but for tldr, I would skip this if you don't like Eva and Asuka in general.
She comes with only 1prop, Cassius's Spear, only to probably countermarch Longinus's spear that was included in Rei's kit.
like all other 30mp kits she also comes with alternate sitting lower body parts to replace usual parts.
that's it nothing more extra!
yeah she's Asuka and it's all nice anf etc but at the end she comes with only such basic parts that if you love her so much you need every product of her irl it's right kit for you.
I know 30mp series are Collab kits so it's more costly, but outta all 30mp kits I'm definately sure she has least props.
if you want Asuka plamodel/figure there are more...variable alternatives out there.
I bought and built rg Eva 02 for her, but this is rather depressing.
After finishing my first gunpla (A PBandai Ex-Impulse MG), it felt like I just finished an end of semester assignment. I'm a big sucker for all things tonka/industrial yellow and saw a pic of Rishetta, and I thought she'd look great inside my yellow pc. I was seriously debating if it was worth panel lining her after going through panel lining hell with the ex impulse as a beginner, but I'm so glad I did, especially for the improvised repulsor pack I made using her spares. I get the hype over part-swapping now, it was so much fun trying different combos! I wanted to make her more cyberpunk-esq using her swimwear optional parts painted with bare black matt primer.
Kind a give up on skin color so I tried to make pantyhouse instead.
I can’t connect her torso to her lower body. The parts that were supposed to fit in the holes are too short now. I’m not sure if any color packs even come with extra joints. Am I just putting the joint together wrong?
I didn't like the flimsy metal arrow piece so I came up with this arrow gun from the many extra pieces she came with.
Hi, so I got my first sis. I am totally new snd would want advice on how to start with doing custom builds. Are there any optional sets that would work with her like weapons/wings etc.? Also I think I will buy Luluce Lily wear and someone fron idolmaster to make custom combat suits for them too! If you know any good optional sets please help. I can’t find them in my country so I will probably look at trusted aliexpress shops or something
