23 year old needing advice post final interview

Hey everyone.

I know this gets posted all the time, but I genuinely need some grounding.

I applied to one of the big four music agencies about a week after the listing went up on a Thursday. I heard back the following Monday for a phone screening for an entry level agent assistant role. The entire 3 round interview process happened in 6 business days. The final agent interview went phenomenal. I was told at 23 I was told by the hiring manager (agent) I was far ahead of where she even was at 25 in her career, and she said she was extremely impressed with my technical knowledge of the industry. She sold me on the company, walked me through her roster, even said there were multiple openings on her desk and “I’d have some say in the process” of where I was placed. She ended interview saying she had a couple more interviews to get through but no concrete timeline.

It’s now end of day Friday 7 business days and 9 calendar days past the final interview. I reached out to the recruiter the following Wednesday reaffirming my interest but no response 48 hours later.

I know I’m probably spiraling, but my lease in Denver ends in two months, and this job being in LA I really need this answer so I can see what my next steps are in terms of living situation.

Is this a normal timeline 7 business days out? Or should I think that they probably extended an offer to someone else.

It's all a game of lies

I mean isn't this all the game is about honestly? A little lie never hurt nobody, especially when its a bloodbath out there just for a single opportunity. I even put extra efforts in tailoring my resume for each job lol.
